My computer doesn't like that map either, but it also runs slow on the original ONS alien map in the first place lol.

Wraith has been doing a good job approving maps & optimizes the maps that needs fixing.

I know other people have said the same thing Rocket. It's a hard map to optimize cuz it's all static mashes and most of them are in the line of site most of the time (i.e. antiportals wont do much), but I'll see what I can do with it as soon as I'm done with the map I'm working on (which should be today).

Alright, I know it’s been too long since my last presentation to the servers, and I’m sure you don’t want to hear my excuses. But now I announce my proudest work yet, however I cannot take full credit for this. The collaboration from many great people enforced Flight to stretch beyond than what was planned!

You may have noticed that there is a new list of maps available to choose from. I believe it’s time to update the list so I present to you more nominated maps. If you’ll check out the first post in this topic, you’ll find the descriptions for all maps there.

There may not be an expiration date this time, but I will construct the most voted map on the list once I complete my next project, DM-AbsoluteHell. This should buy you enough time to help you make the best decision.
Due to the delays from Flight, I did get a huge head start on Abs Hell. I already pass the halfway marker, and I’m predicting that it’ll be near completion near halfway of August.

DM-AbsoluteHell will root itself as one of the toughest map on the servers. It’ll be a miracle to reach wave 13 because many traps that awaits the unwary. Only the boldest will decide to take the war to the source of the endless invasions.
Be cautious when you battle monsters that will fight for their homeland.

Last thing you may have take heed is that I've changed my font color. It’s not I just found out that red looks cooler than orange, it’s more like I’m keeping track of things. It’s a color scheme that’ll tell me how long these projects took me. Flight’s color theme is orange so I wrote in orange text while I was constructing it. Now that I’m working on Abs Hell, I’ll change my color to this red. It’s more for notes to myself so I keep in mind in how long certain projects took me to build.

That’s enough blabbering from me. I hope that you’ll be at least satisfied in whichever map wins from the polls.

You could have just used a calender but hey, whatever works for ya... lol. Anyways, The caves should be done in no time at all but the gargoyle will take a few weeks. I must remember low-poly. I'm just so use to UT3 but I'll try to keep it in mind. I'll also be creating a custom UV for it as well so their wont be any ugly lines. The UV shouldn't take but a few days. I get my new computer tomorrow so all work will commence then. Including the gasbag and brute for UT3 so try to bear with me if their are delays. Thanks and I'll talk to you later.

A big reason why I decided to register was so I can vote, and I don't remember having to do so for the last poll you had up.

Anyway, I can't wait to see the grand opening of Flight even though I am pretty sure most of the low levels won't/can't appreciate it to the same extent as someone being able to take their time to enjoy the surroundings.

Well we don't want to rush their decision, and this only day two.

It is a lot to read and digest, and I do have a feeling that some cannot absorb as well as others.

I'm thinking of writing in gold text of a really brief description so when they review the map titles and they need a quick refresher, they could read the gold text for that little spark in their memory.

Edit: I've typed up the one sentence descriptions, but I didn't like it.
There's no passion in these descriptions, and I felt like I was downgrading the maps. It doesn't justify the material that is planned for these nominated maps so I won't post the one sentence descriptions yet.

I'll only post it if I get an outburst of shouts for them, or when I didn't get enough feedback when I'm nearly done with Abs Hell.

I'm hoping Flight will be up any time soon, but soon is a word I've been using for quite awhile.

What are those cages with the green lights on them in the first picture? They look kind of like weapon lockers, but also not like weapon lockers.

I'm curious to learn more about this map, if it's supposed to be so challenging I'd like to know what unique features you're putting in there (I've actually been considering making a challenge map as well, but lack of time kind of hinders that).
