What do we have to do to get our maps on this server?

Here's a specific forum for discussing potential maps, maps that need a vacation and optimizations and modifications for better playability.

It's been 2 weeks since my version 5 of my map, plus a new map and you guys haven't decided to put them on the server yet.

Do we have to shout Hail to the king, and sacrifice a lamb to get our maps on this server?

What system is it that you guys use in here?
Only the few fortune ones are hand picked... is that it?

You guys are so picky about maps, and tell mappers how to make them.

Don't you think it's up to the players to decide wether the maps are good or not?

Instead you should have a voting system here, where players can vote and coment about the maps instead of telling players what they should play.

Thanks for your time.

I appreciate that you're making an effort to contribute to the server.

Maybe you're not clear on how much work goes into the setup, continuous development, and maintenance of a highly customized server like this, and that we have other issues with the server that need our attention other than just reviewing, testing, and adding your map.

Insulting the efforts we make to the community by calling us names, as though we have nothing better to do than oppress you, probably isn't going to grease the wheels any.

And no, it's not up to the players to decide what maps go on the server... that's up to the server administrator, and that's the way it is on every server. That's one of the things that makes a server what it is.

If you want to setup a test server to try out your map, that's easily doable. If you want your map on Monster Mash, you've got to work with us a little bit.

Ok fair enough.

I was just wondering about the reason that's all.
Never meant to insult you, was just making a point.

I know you guys have more work to do other than look at maps, and I can apreciate that.

Anyway, when can I post the link to my maps so you guys can test them?

Whenever you got the time.

Maybe there's some minor confusion. In your mapping topic, we thought that you were creating another version. We did provide feedback on the latest version, but we never saw the next update.

We've predicted maybe something came up in life and it really delayed you in mapping. It happens to the most of us.

Is this the latest version still?

I already reviewed V3.

It's at version5, and there is a new map in it also.

It wouldn't hurt...

Being picky wouldn't be such a bad thing.
