Please try to be there and on the TeamSpeak server. We are trying to determine if the TS server is going to be all right for the scrim on Saturday. Important that we get a full load of peeps in there to check it out! Even if you can only stay for 10 minutes or so, please come on in!!

I'm too cool for school. But I have to go anyway. *sniffle* because of that, and the fact that I have to walk to get to my dad's house, I can't make it on weekdays anymore. And if we make a sisterhood of SVA, that would be awesome. UT needs more girls. Even if their gender is questionable... Anyway, Vic is from Call of Duty 2: The Big Red One for PS2, he dies in Italy in a hail of bullets when he kicks down a door. Sixth level, beach landing except inland.

By the way, I know what you’re talking about the cable, in fact I had to put it a certain position to avoid any problem with it, I got in amazon for only $43.00 with free shipping, sweet deal uh... :happy8: . So KK if you are going for the G5, go to amazon, unless you can get it cheaper.

Well, I chatted to Vic briefly while playing Dreamus... It was brief and chaotic, but here's a rundown...
Kind of shows how he feels I guess. It's not only SVA's that don't like his tank camping in my opinion. I've seen several other people get after him, even DW's. He/she/it is good with the tank, but what does everyone think?

Well, in my humble opinion I think he's good at it (using the tank) and you do what you do best. So I don’t have a problem with that, I just wish he/she will play more team oriented, but he’s helping the team on his/her own way. And as other ppl said B4 here in the forum, is a challenge to take him down. Hell I cheer when I take it down, only once btw… :crybaby:
Personally, I don't care... If he wants to Tank whore all night long, more power to him. In some maps it is a great thing. In others, he is just a sitting duck or useless.
I can see why other people who want to get in the tank would be pissed, but hey - whoever gets there first gets it. I don't know (if he was on my team) if I would want anyone else in the tank...
I know I am a Manta whore. I use it because it matches my style of play. But, if someone else takes it, oh well, I change it up and move to the next thing. I never understand it when I see people run past an empty manta.
As for the tag thing, my opinion on it, is either wear or not. But, if you are going to wear it, wear it full time. It took me a while to wear it. But, that is because I wanted to make sure that I was part of the DW/SVA community. For me, either I was aligning myself with a group or I was going to stay "single". The SVA's and DW's seemed to me to be a mature bunch of people whose greater goals are to have fun and play some decent UT.
The immaturity you find (and arrogance) at alot of other servers is much worse. It always make me chuckle when people are talking smack over the game. Most of those people probably would be too intimidated to say anything in real life, but they live "large and in charge" behind their montiors.
Go take a look at the frappr site. Most of the people here are obviously adults. (no offense to the younger guys) And they act that way.

I've been playing UT for a really short while, but will never regret listening to Trigga and finally buying the game. Heck, the g/f is complaining about the reduced "quality" time, but there is nothing better than killing Hornet and then misplacing the next Rocket on my foot. haha. There is so much you can about those Bloody USSRs, but I'll do my best aswell. :colors:
As for the mouse, you can't go wrong with the G5. 2000dpi, laser, smooth, unbreakable braided cable, weights system (@ 7g on mine). Yeah, the wheel is crappy but you get to live with that. Hi Everyone,
Been a while since I've read the forums. To be honest, I'm really not much of an forums type of person. But what the hay. I'm curious whats goin on so here I am. Well just catching up on the discussion here and guess I have a question or two or maybe its just to express my opinion. So here goes.
On the SVA tags:
1) I think its nice that some of us CHOSE to put on the tags, but IMO it should remain a FREE CHOICE.
2) Having played online fps games such as QUAKE 1, since it (back when I was in college ) first came out; I've seen some stuff/ been in a few clans etc... and more and more this SVA stuff sounds and looks alot like DW is trying to create a FARM CLAN with out actually coming out and saying it. Nothing is wrong with it, but maybe they should just say it for clarification? Its only FAIR for those who chose to wear the SVA tags.
3) As far as gratitude, I am grateful and do say THANK YOU to those that I know of in DW who work to get the servers up and running such as TOXIC or NAMU who helps set up the matches. Now that doesnt mean that I say TY everytime I see them, but do so when apporpiate. But this also means that he may/ probably not remember but I think it might be a tad too much to say TY, TY, TY all the time... The fact that I CHOSE to come to the DW server, is because I like the people (well most of 'em anyways) and the clan. There are a good number of other servers I go to too but DW remains one to which I CHOSE to contribute and populate. Almost as much as DW contributes its efforts, I hate to say it but if it werent for people like the tagged and/ or non-tagged SVA's coming to populate their servers, the Spam Vikings would just be another low populated UT server.
4) Now then, having said all that... Personally I will wear the SVA tag IF it is required of me to participate in the SVA vs DW scirmages. BUT. I will only wear it on the Spam vikings servers and take it off when I'm not. I will say that I think it will be a pain in the ass for me to keep changing my tag everytime I log off SV and go to other servers. As far as this goes, I would like a FINAL decision on this by Toxic and DW's Captains.
On Vic.
So much to say and so little to say.
1) I personally dont care much about his/ her sexual identity. But I do care about the persistant IMMATURATY that it dispalys.
2) What annoys me about this player is the fact that he/she throws such a tantrum when they dont get the vehicle of their choice. Instead of going to find a second vehicle, vic harrasess the heck outta the person who got it first. This goes to the point where Vic will keep shooting you in the vehicle even when you're being attacked by the other team. Think how that would go when Friendly Fire option on the server is on?
3) Vic doesnt write his tantrums out much, thank goodness, but he does act it out by trying to manta whoring(amongst other things) his own teammates who got/getting/trying to get the vehicle of his choice. If vic could, he would be Team Killing everyone who gets with in the spawning perimeter of the tank or levi. Sounds funny, but I think thats the truth.
4) Personally, I dont give a hoot if vic does well or not. If he gets a high score, good for him, I harbour no jealousy nor care. I do care that he choses to harrass his teammates rather than kill the enemy when things dont go his way. But does anyone else also notice that he is usually mediocre interms of score when he doesnt have the tank or other high damage vehicles?
5) The guy consistantly bails on the losing team. Nuff said.
I personally don't think that vic and his/her ego will ever change. And I think its useless to try changing it. But I have noticed that vic has offended alot of tagged and nontagged SVA, thus resulting in his self-alienation. I will admit, I am one of those ticked off. Wasn't always this way, infact, I used to GIVE him the tank or levi when I got to it first, cuz I thought it could help the team I'm on. Vic has no one but himself to blame. And on a server where voting to kick people option is on, its just not wise to continue to act like an arrogant ass. Well thats about it I guess. Now where was that program to team chat again??? I thought it was keenspeak.org but I havent been able to find it (reason I logged on ITFP). Later.
