I was thinking about making a mod and have Death Warrant try it out and see if they wanna use it. I can think of the ideas but have no clue about actually making the mod so first i wanted to see if Death Warrant would like to try out the mod if i find some people who'd want to put my ideas to reality. secondly, as i already said, i need people to help. So please just tell me, Death Warrant, if you'd like to try out a new mod and make it into a server.

I'm interested in hearing about your mod idea. The difficulty in creating this mod will be a big factor in how many people will help you out.

Your idea. Always start with the idea, then setup the goal, then plan the steps what it'll take to get to the goal.

The main idea is to make something like mow the RPG in Monster Mash is like and bring it to an assult gametype. I was thinking of the classes and I've come up with Mercenary and Field Medic so far. I wanted it to be a living vs dead team setup if we can (living red dead blue)and to have it to where you gotta destroy key areas in the opposing team camp except i want it to happen at the same time. Melee weapons for some of the classes if possible and i can go further into detail with the Mercenary and Field Medic classes if you like. The goal here is to make a second Unreal RPG with a diferrent gametype,classes,and for those that dont like Invasion. I'd like it to have custom maps that go along with the story. But first off i'd like to get started on making the classes. Then we can work on the maps if we can make custom ones, color everything textor everything and then test and polish. Any questions?

When you mention living vs dead (red vs blue) is this gametype going to be players vs players or players vs computer? Assault can be structured to one team (all players against computer).

Players vs players. But i would like it if we could add a phew bot bosses as well (I.E. Luci's). And maybe some guards. I've been thinking alot on it tonight and i concluded that 1:Both bots and players rez after 3 seconds as normal (no long wait as in Monster Mashes). 2: First off you have to break through the first defense. then you have to kill 6 mages (harder than normal bots. Miniboss of Monster Mashes power divided between 6 people) and destroy the crystal they were protecting which shoots out lightning bolts randomly at its attackers once attacked. That will turn off the magic barrier protecting the boss and his/her bodyguard (Power of Lucifers split into 2). once a team has sucessfully done that before the other team has they win the game and go to another server specific map. 3: They both do this at the same time allowing the player to either defend or offend. Might make the classes gameplay favorable to one tactic not sure yet. 4: I dont want there to be a time limit. Game goes on until they have defeated the boss AND the bodyguard. i want to give the bodyguard a buff, however, as a penalty for trying to skip him if they kill the boss first. 100%+ damage and defense. Or damage bonus and damage reduction. So you think we could do the players & bots vs players & bots?

The problem with players vs players in RPG is because of RPG. It's just isn't fair when a low levels are up against a high level. You can see an example when RPG ONS idea was brought up through this topic:

Hmm.... That is a problem..... But one of the goals itself is to stick together in one or 2 tight groups. I.E. for people giving shields to others like how Healing Burst works. Maybe we could adjust the bot level on that team to make them a higher level according to the levels on its team. Still only be an AI but better than nothing? We could test it out and see how to goes maybe? If we cant go through this Players vs Bots but i'd love it if we could try everything but first. I still need to know, though, if you wanna do this. You know how the monster lvl goes up as low players disapeer? well we could make them hgiher as more low levels get on. Seeing as how if/when we release it people are still going to be getting used to it and let the bots handle the defense. Also i'm planning on 5 or 6 classes maybe even more each with different stregnths and weakness to make it even (I.E. mage beats field medic field medic beats merc merc beats mage). That would add more balance between lvls 1 facing a level 100. Also low levels can stand back and help the bots with defense. We could also give exp to the whole team for cutting through first line, defeating mini bosses, defeating the crystal, and then winning and they could just run around dying the whole time. What I'm saying is how you get exp for winning the round in Monster Mashes even though you were dead the WHOLE time. Same thing works here but you could be a meatguard, a decoy, a spy etc. and just end up being dead and STILL helping the team. I dont know many people who'd quit this mod in those circumstances yet still go to and play Monster Mashes and die in that server the same amount of times but making it HARDER for the team when they're dead unlike this mod. Also at the beginning everyone's gonna be low and after that we can just tell them hang in there and we'd balnce it the best we can. You think we should just get "beta" tesers to try it and see what they report?
