some maps not loading
I think its an issue with your cache, you may want to rename your current folder to cache1 or something and see if that helps. However you will have to re-download everything. If it doesn't just delete the new cache folder and rename the old one to cache.

What's the error message, if any?
If it's just taking a critical error, clear your cache and remove any files that you may have 'uncached'.
Snaggle.

Usually it also says something like 'Version mismatch' or 'Refused to download'.
Follow Hornet's advice about renaming your Cache folder to see if it is the problem.
Also, have you uncached any files? This means you have copied files from your cache into the regular folders under your UT2004 folder. If you don't know what this is then you probably haven't done it.
Snaggle.

Elite may have his ui experiences confusted with hsi monster mash games.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson
Thanks for letting us know. I will double-check to see if I am missing some files on the redirect. (We had moved our redirect from one location to another not too long ago, and maybe something went AWOL during that move. I will look into it this evening.

I have had similar issues recently, I believe it's something inherent with the way the cache system is setup. It could also be the server coughing up on requests due to overuse. A few times after a map change it would say something along the lines of connection failed. A simple reconnect always fixed it however. I have yet to have a problem with files not existing on the redirect.DW_Wraith wrote:Thanks for letting us know. I will double-check to see if I am missing some files on the redirect.
