I liked the scavengers at the end..."hey that power supply is still good, right?"
Never let gear go to waste!

Karma...a term that comprises the entire cycle of cause & effect...
Kat...a supercilious quadrupedal pile of fur that doesn´t give a flying fig for Karma...

Couple other places I watch for trouble:
UTAN bans

TWL bans

This has some promise. Nice thing about this is it checks for speed hacking which I think is more prevalant then an aimbot. To bad its only for UT99 atm.

This is a real problem, especially in HALO PC.
HNTR- has had its fair share of idiots run this type of thing on our HALO server, so I got mad and did some investigating.
I found in the depths of the internet a HALO PC aimbot for download, so I got it after reading 20+ forums about that particular one. I called over my friend and we took 2 offline PC's and networked them to test the thing in a LAN game. (No, I would NEVER even think of putting a CHEAT program on my main gaming computer!! I hate cheaters!!!)
Anyway, we played on many maps in our little LAN game and I used the Aimbot on all of them. It is sad to say that it does work, and is very easy to operate, allowing noobs to easily get very good stats in games very quickly.
But I did find most of the things I was looking for. I found some very good ways to detect, and beat Aimbot users.
1- (Most) Aimbots can be beat by ducking. If someone continuously owns you from a distance, duck and don't move. If they miss you about 5-10+ times while you are ducked, then they are probably using an Aimbot.
2- If you see a player jerk multiple times more than the usual 90 degree range of motion while sniping/aiming, then they are probably using the Aimbot's auto-detect "heat seeking" feature.
3- For some reason, Aimbots tend to crash when a player using them enters a vehicle, so that is a good place to watch when suspicious.
4- Aimbots will follow a player behind objects; a good sniper will wait with his eye trained on the corner so that whenever someone steps around it, BAM. -- so if you see a sniper waiting to kill someone who is around a corner, and that sniper is following thier movements perfectly even though they can't see them, then they may be using an Aimbot.
I should say here, though, that there are players who are really better than Aimbots. (I should know, my friend was like #100 or something in HALO 2 for a while on XBOX Live, and I get owned alot....) Don't get all suspicious of a player just because they can beat you every time.
Well, this is just something to ponder.
Play smart and FAIR everyone,

LOL @ the video. It's definitely staged, note the background guy "it's an AT, dude" at the end. ;)
As for cheaters: I've seen the odd aimbot/speed on SV. If I'm too lazy to demorec I'll just grief his ass off the server, because I *rarely* see a hacker who can actually play better than most of us. Flak-jutsu, as Zax said, is the best answer. :)
I find UT3 servers are RIFE with hacks right now, because they're just coming out and very few people know about them. I was one one clan server and *everybody there* admitted to be aimbotting. Yay aimbot!
If you want to play UT3 just fyi, DW's server or clanbbf's server are good places to play.

It was staged....they were just demonstrating what to look for.
I played against one of those last week. THe guy couldnt miss...with anything. It was almost instant death. His score was like 650 in Dreamus. Finally everyone caught on and he was booted.
