Lol Nut, you posted me :) That chaka game wasn't even fun :( the monsters had no chance... they couldn't even spawn :)

For Invasion, I don't believe you can. For stuff like Onslaught, Capture the Flag, etc, it's automatically turned on.

Since in Invasion you don't strictly belong to either the Red or Blue team, there's nothing to really brighten to begin with.

With all that being said, there might be a way to do something with skins to make people easier to see. Bomzin seems to have made the default skin Gorge and forced it so everyone's skin is Gorge no matter what. I'm afraid I'm not entirely sure, though.
