I was wanting to try it just wondering. On my built in vidcards I like the look of opengl but just wondering how it would perform. And maybe get a little less fog :evil4:

With my nVidia 7800 GS video card, I've tried using OpenGL to run UT2004, but wasn't impressed with the performance. For me, at least, Directx seemed to run much faster and more smoothly. However, it may be completely different for your computer configuration and set-up, so give it a try!
The following link is to a website that'll show you how to perform minor and major graphical tweaks to UT2004. Keep in mind that you use these other tweaks at your own risk, as I don't know what the heck they will REALLY do...

To find out how to unlock OpenGL, just hit CTRL+F, type in "Opengl" (without the quotes) and it should bring you to the correct passage that should tell you what you need to know.
