Medic's don't really need a guide, at least, I thought they didn't, until a whole slew of poorly constructed medics showed up. So here goes:

Medic Guide:

Lvl 25: 240 Pts.
-Start your character.
* Buy Medic Class.
* Max your Weapon Speed (105 Points). Very important that you do this straightaway, it greatly increases your healing efficiency.
* Buy level 3 Loaded Medic. Get level 3, ignore people who say just get level 2, you're utterly worthless without 3.
* Buy 50 Damage Reduction.
* Put the rest in Damage Bonus.

Lvl 25-28: 30 Pts.
* Buy 25 Adrenaline, this enables you to buy one level of Adrenaline Drip.
* Buy Level 1 Adrenaline Drip.
* Put points in Damage Bonus until it's 65 then put the rest (if any) in Damage Reduction.

Lvl 28-29 10 Pts.
*Put 5 points in Damage Bonus and 5 in Damage Reduction.

Lvl 29-51 220 Pts.
* Pump your Damage Bonus to the max. If you don't do this, then you'll wish you had later, because when it gets harder to level up, your gonna be stuck with a sucky medic for a looooong time.

Lvl 51-56 50 Pts.
*Max Advanced Damage Reduction. Just do it, if you don't, then there's no point to reading this guide, because this is the most important thing you do as a Medic ever.

Lvl 56-57 10 Pts.
* Put 5 points each in Health Bonus and Ammo bonus. Enables you to buy Awareness, which is a boon.

Lvl 57-59 20 Pts.
*Buy Awareness. Very Important if you want to level up faster. After I bought Awareness my scores consistently doubled.

Lvl 59-69 100 Pts.
* Pump your Damage Reduction to 150.

It's your choice what to do from here on out. The best thing to do would be to either max your Damage Reduction or start working on the requirements for Ghost. Don't forget to heal other people, that's a Medic's job. Don't buy monsters, you noobs.

Monster Master Guide:
-If you thought I wouldn't make one because I hate monsters, think again. If you thought I would make it as extensive as the Medic Guide, then stop thinking.

Step 1. Repeatedly hit your own face with a brick: now that you've lost enough IQ points to where Monster Master seems like a good idea, create your character.

Skills you need in order of Priority.
Loaded Medic. (not loaded monsters)
Damage Bonus.
Monster Intelligence.
Damage Reduction.
Weapon Speed.
Awareness.
Monster Points.
Loaded Monsters.

Monsters Worth Summoning: none

Monsters you should summon for this build: Mantas (at beggining,) Elite Mercenaries, Brutes, Giant Razor Fly, Warlord. NOTHING ELSE! NO GASBAGS! NO SKAARJ! NOTHING!

Monsters aren't something that will gain you levels on their own. They are little helpers that will get you about 50 kills a game if you're lucky. Best monster in my opinion is the Elite Mercenary. Summon 2 at even low monster intelligence and damage bonus and they may rack up 20~ kills each by the end of the game.

Make sure you heal people.
_____________________________________________________________

Skills to stay away from as a Medic/Monster Master:
Experienced Healing: The XP you get from this is so minimal that it's a joke.
Ultima: Haha, noob.

Skills to consider:
Regeneration: This one isn't all that bad if you have the stuff you need, or if you really hate healing yourself. Consider getting it.

That's the end of my guide. Medics are by far the best class, so have fun playing one. Tell me if I missed anything.

i think you mixed up your damage bonus and damage reduction in lvls 29-51

if monster suck so bad why not give them a bost? make it lil more worth while to summon them. for example increase there run speed that would allow them to get there faster then you and hopefuly kill em, another something is give them a bigger feild of view (awareness) so that they will go after mobs across the map.

and heres a really big idea but to much of a pain to create so i dont expect it or wish it apon anyone with avrage scripting skills.

Button (Pet Stay) Pet guards area and protects it from anything that enters that area

Button (Pet Attack) attacks what ever the closest Monster is

Button (Pet Guard) pet guards you if your hit then the pet will grab the attention of the monsters attention from u and Atempt to kill it

Button (Pet follow) this returns the pet from Pet stay

----------------------------------------------------------------
if anyones ever played a pet class in any MMORPG will know some of these commands and i dont wish this project apon anyone with no free time or ablity becouse i already know how hard it would be just wanted to tape a few thoughts out

I'm running FusionL2 with 2 friends of mine, it's a Lineage 2 private server, and even balanced out, players do not seem to be able to 'own' with any of the 3 summoner classes. So my suggestion is to leave it to normal so it won't change anything for the people that are born for this class and somehow can find themselves always surviving till the last wave.

Desko presents a good outline. The only thing I would change is less initial emphasis on damage reduction. IMO that initial 50 in damage reduction should be spent elsewhere, and other additions to DR should wait til later.

Of that 50 put 25 pts in health (this gives you 50 health bonus) and 25 in adren and get adrenal drip now. The 50 health is better than the 50 DR at this point anyway.
EX.
You have 75 health and a monster attacks doing 100 damage.
If you had 50 in DR the monster does 25% less damage (75 your still dead)
If you had 50 in health the monster does 100 damage, but you have 125 health (you live AND you still have 25 more points to distribute)

The adrenal drip will help you if you die/join in later harder waves and can't get to weapons and/or kill to get the adren to make your medic weapon (it also helps if you find a rod or triple damage as it gets your adren up that much faster).

At this point seriously consider getting awareness now.

From this point put all points into Damage Bonus until level 40. At level 40 you can start buying Advanced Damage Reduction. Put 5 in ADR and 5 in DB from levels 40 to 50 (ADR is more valuable than regular DR giving you 4% per 5 pts spent vs 2.5% per 5 pts spent on reg DR).

From here continue with DB until it is maxed.

Next you can devote all the rest to DR, but what I personally did was to get Ghost first.
Ghost is more valuable IMO for a couple of reasons.
1. In order to get Ghost you have to put pts in DR and Health first so your helping yourself stay alive.
2. Lesser damage that your DR might prevent can be healed by you (Your a medic after all -- just heal yourself before you die), and greater damage that kills you (like Titan Rocks) will probably kill you even if you have a higher DR. Ghost will give you another chance (even if you didn't heal yourself in the first case of lesser damage).
I got lvl 1 Ghost then maxed my DR then got lvl 2 ghost (I was somewhere around level 105 - 110 when I had completed all of this)

Now for Monsters........
If you want to have a powerful character don't consider getting monsters until you are well over level 100 (do consider NOT getting them at all).

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who read binary, and everyone else.
4013 is only a FAD
And 2989? Well that's just BAD

"Pet" monsters should never be able to do anything (run, kill, see enemies) better/faster than you or other players of equal level.

How about some for the other players too:

Button (Pet Get the F*** Out Of The Way!) Pet goes to a corner and thinks about how annoying it is.

Button (Pet Die Bitch) Pet commits hara-kari achieving the only honorable death available to it.

Note: all pets should also wear black tee shirts that say "SECURITY"

How about this:

Button (Pet Neckgrab) Pet performs a so-called neckgrab (familiar with you Splinter Cell players) on the monster you have your reticle on, this way you don't have a hard time aiming since the target can't move.

Button (Pet banzai) Pet performs a kamikaze attack and will be honored for his heroic deeds for his owner.

Maybe a few of these would make them more usefull ^_^

Neck grab sounds cool, However most medics use the cheap and retarded mine layer anyway.
