Server crashing

The server seems to be having a few problems. We haven't finished a game for quite a while now(about 6 or 7 i think).
If you could give it some loving and fix it that would be superb!

Yeah last night was starting to get really annoying you may make it wave 6 if you were lucky before it crashed.

Im guessing it just needs a hard reset ?

I believe it is more than a reset, Wraith has tried to reset it but it doesnt seem to be the problem, at least when I play. Not to sure what is the problem.

This afternoon, I'm going to try again to make a change where the log file does not get overwritten during a crash. The server may need to be put in a manual restart mode so we can look at the logs and figure out the problems.

I hate the fact that it seems to be crashing more frequently as the rest of you are.

Thought i'd mention that yesterday (i think) the server crashed the very instant i spawned a titan using a summoning charm... didn't seem like a coincidence so I guess there's something to look in to.

We'll be working on trying to fix the bugs. Theres more than 1, and they involve a little of everything from the 2004rpg mutator to the creatures. It will take time, please bear with us.

Hay guys i have to say ive never liked invasion ut2004 till i visited your server recently and am impressed by the work your doing to improve apon it.

Yeh server crashes sucks on wave 16 but what can we do but come back to DM-Vote ;)

I really like how one of your mappers made a 5-minute level called DM-Vote and how you set it to be the server's default map in the event of a crash. That's an excellent idea that I have never seen anyplace else nor one that I had thought of myself.

I have a second revision of it, been done for months but hasn't replaced the origional yet....too busy, too lazy, take your pick...lol

Looks like the server is finally settling down and crashes are less frequent...

I've been going crazy trying to figure out what it was exactly, and hopefully it will be good for a long time now.

Now I can work on creatures or maps. I know we need some middle wave creatures to put you guys back on your toes....
