Grenades on face humm seems I remeber the same occuring to me on maps with "New players" recently! I'm standing on top of the red triangle in my own little space and someone comes and tosses grenades on my face???? Well I end up dead because I can't see whats coming at me! I don't nuke the person but you know I was preaty damn pissed about it!
Not saying Kabukis behavior was justified but you know running around tossing grenades in an invasion map=someone getting pissed eventually.
Seems to me that there is a rash of avoidable behaviors that can be avoided here by everyone involved. Especially if we would all just glance at the nice bright yellow letters that flash in game on occasion stating the behavior expected by the server administration.

I guess now is a bad time to mention I have a neat little modification to the GL in the works that I'll be putting in some maps soon?
Maybe I should make the grenades explode on contact with players.

The foohs had it coming. They shouldn't be aiming grenade launchers at people's faces; they should be aiming at the monsters faces! Of course, if they were aiming at the monsters but there were titans and everything was jumping up and down and the grenades accidentally hit someone, then that's different. I've done that before.
Regardless, mutiple people have complained about this dude.
When I played MM, I seem to remember him being rude and crude. Maybe he needs to be put into time out for a while.

1st of all I want to thank God. With him all things are possible. And my mom of course. Much love mom. To the peeps in the hood...you know I gotcha back homie. Rob...I see ya steppin out there 4 me. I feel ya on that, right?.....u know what I'm sayin'. I feel ya man. I see a couple of others battin 4 me 2. Preciates yas....

I've already addressed my language issue and I think most of the people I play with (admins included) would agree that I've pretty well since I made that post. With in game chat deactivated now I'm guessing it should be less of an issue. At the very least I'll make sure that my language is on par with the server "average".
As for the grenades issue. I gave you plenty of time. You ignored me completely until I threatened you. Then you responded immediately. You were being a a schmuck and you know it. I'd do the same thing again.
And it's true. We have had a rash of retards lately. And my patience does run really short with people who refuse to respond to both text and speech. Sometimes they only respond if they feel threatened. I'll try to be more patient.
Now I'd like to make a point that seems to have slipped past some of you. This doesn't apply to everyone. I play with many of you every day. Admins included. And no one has addressed me personally via Vent, PM, email, or any other way. And you have all had opportunities to do so. And you all treat me like a friend while we're playing.
WTF is up with that? You harbor some grief until someone makes a post and then you jump on the bandwagon? Why haven't you talked to me about this before? Why now? Where is your spine? You know who you are if you are in that group. If that's you then go fuck yourself. Those are the kinds of people I tell to go fuck themselves. In game and out. I'd like to think that any of you would do the same.

Maybe it's me, but as I understand most people prefer to shoot monsters, not players, and due to your somewhat annoying strategy I am unable to sympathize with you and your dilemma.
Furthermore, I am inclined to dislike you, as your express purpose for registering to the forums was to complain, a thankless action which most don't appreciate and which detracts from the perceived truthfulness of your version of the story and your future comments. Obviously you DID do something that pissed him off, which was the throwing of grenades onto his face. The initiation of a Face-Grenade relationship was indubitably a huge mistake on your part, especially since the face on which you threw the grenades was that of the infamous "noob exploder," Kabuki. This situation puts you in the wrong, and I for one (and people may not agree with me) advocate the yelling at and/or exploding of the offender. To the misfortune of numerous innocent bystanders, the explosion abruptly ended the invasion by means of the annihilation of the remaining players. However, this was, in my opinion, a fitting, and well deserved punishment.

I couldn't agree more with everything you say. And well said, as well, I might add. A great read. Unfortunately some of your well-made points are misplace. I DID NOT nuke the idiot. I stepped out and drew fire to the idiot to make sure he no longer represented a threat to my well being. He died promptly. I did nothing that directly harmed anyone else.
Unfortunately the splash damage from my actions of self-preservation caused inadvertent civilian casualties for which my department is greatly sorrowful. We can only hope that sufficient advances in genetics might one day breed the idiot gene out of the system altogether for the betterment of society en totale.
