Well, right now, I think that both of the companies are shooting themselves in the foot because of their piss poor drivers.

If I had to buy one today, I would probably look at the 8800GTS. 8800GTX is too expensive. The 7950GT2 apparently is two cards in one, which have had driver issues. However, newegg was running a special on a X1950 for $150 after rebate, which was a steal if you are a ATI fan.

Now that I have looked into it a bit more, I would probably go with a X1950XT. It is about $170. I am not planning on going to Vista anytime soon, so I don't need DirectX 10.
