Hello there. I think medics and weapon master should have a new ability called "Artifact Denial" for enable them to keep their artifact. The ability should have 3 level :
level 1 : prevent the droping of the artifacts but doesnt keep them.
level 2 : keep only the artifact that was either in use or selected.
level 3 : keep all artifacts.
Also, wepon master should have the ability to always obtain a magical weapon at level 4 or 5 of loaded weapon when they drop a weapon with a star (*) on it and pick another one. At level 4 the new weapon should be magical or curse (+ or -) and at level 5 only +.
IF Wraith or anybody else could make a mutator that do that that could be realy cool.

i like the idea about the artifact denial. maby not the first lvls effects though. cuz it wouldnt be fair to ppl who arent adren masters who want an artifact. i mean how many times has a moster dropped a tripple damage right infront of you when u need it? more often it is a player that dies and u pick up their items. i also dont like the keep all artifacts thing. my idea would be to have 1 lvl costing like 10 points. you keep the artifact u have selected and drop the rest. and the thing with the wm weapon thing that would not be good either. cuz then u could just drop a wep and almost roll weapons like an adren master. just drop whatever and pick up another till u have an inf or vorp or whatever.
This is a moot point hard coded into the game are the artifacts, from my understanding, your talking to the wrong people. Disasterous consequences is the place to make these suggestions.

The things you want changed are a part of the druids rpg. and I don't feel like I could make changes ike that to it at this time. Hopefully they will be coming out with a new revision real soon now. About the only thing I may be willing to do with the mod is make some changes such as lowering the number of creatures a healer can have summed at one time from like 3 to 2. Maybe make the lightning artifact a bit stronger, but use more adrenaline in return for it. Perhaps give more time than the current 4 minutes when you use the summon monster artifact to something like 5 minutes, etc. Things that already exist and just need tweaking for whatever reason are things I may consider if I want to go that route. I actually have a revision with the said changes all ready to test, but haven't had the time to do so, and not sure if I will actually use it, or when, if I do use it.

instead of talking about how it would be impossible to do we should instead focus on how to inprove this idea. if we could get together a hypethetical skill with all the ideas and stuff intact franky could go straight to dc and show them a completed idea sheet. that way if they do come out with a new version or patch all the thinking will already be done?
