how to get things from cache (Vent request)

ut2004 mi

1) install the linked file

2)install ut 2004 mod installer

3) run it once installed and find ut 2004 folder with the configure tab

4) take the files you want out of you cache (using the cache tab)

5) go to your system folder in ut2004's directory

6) make a text file and add these lines

ucc exportcache

7) rename it to uccall.bat

8) find the .U file you want

9) copy the name and paste it like so( the file i chose is BalancedZenMP5_BETA4.u your servers mp5)

ucc exportcache BalancedZenMP5_BETA4.u

This is so incredibly more complicated than using UT Cache 2004, but still good info. Thanks for posting.

well put the files that have no ucl or int files yet i use both for completeness it also allows better functioning of the file if you include the int file and i don't recomend ut2004 cache extractors that generate their own .ucl and .int they have glichy methods of making those and occasionaly make glichy .ucl and.int (if they make ints) especially with larger files and such (tried with a few failed ucls for chaos ut and they worked fine for the ucc.exe(though took about a minute b/c of gigantic files and it is best to do one file at a time
