Just curious: anybody know why UT2004Stats tracks "Flak Monkey" rewards but not "Combo Whore?" I've always wondered this. Is there a way to find one's career total of "Combo Whores?"

And why isn't there a "Mine Slut?"

I don't know about combo whore stats but mines are tracked; look under Mine Goat Fucker.

I agree with you on that one, Zerg. As much as they're a part of the game (meaning I'm not against using them myself) I don't like the spider mines as they are. They're a catchall anti-everything weapon, albeit a short-ranged and slightly limited one, but still one that's vastly overpowered by comparison to the rest of the set.

Here's a fix - everything other than mines gets perma-udamage? XD

Combo Whores are pretty rare :drunken: , any idea how many combos are needed to get this ?

I usually get them in Dreamus maps.

15 combo kills in one life, pretty hard. You need a total of 15x5 = 75 shock ammo, not counting the ones that dont connect.

No C.O.L, just 15 throughout an entire match, whether it goes one round, two round, or five rounds. Same thing with the Flak Monkeys or Headhunters; dying doesn't reset your count for that match.

Holy crap, I would never get a Combo Whore, or any other special reward for that matter, if you had to do it without dying.

I'm not against mines, Kitty. I wouldn't change them, nerf them, or "balance" the game's arsenal by making other weapons more powerful. I love mines, they are so frustrating. Mines cause people to quit the round, type pathetic insults in game chat, smash their mouse, etc. If anything, mines balance the game because they can produce massive damage for any player regardless of her skill level. I was simply informing the OP under which heading he could find stats for 'em. :compress:

In general, I am against nerfing or not spawning any weapon in the standard UT2004 set. If every player can get to every weapon then there is no reason to change anything. Without spider mines some maps take way too long to win, like BitchSlap.
