DM-Zombies *BioHazard*
What we could do is you put together a second zip file with the missing parts, and I'll try to consolidate as much as possible, then go from there. Its complicated with trying to explain how to do some of the things, textures are easier to put in the MyLevel which is what tells it to embed it into the map itself. However if you used shaders, which is a texture that has programming added to it to produce an effect, and they are harder to do.
Now you know why the admin reserves the right to change edit a map to make it work on the server :D :salute:Haseoxth wrote:This is for you ACY, i never knew that DW members could change the map, but if they will when added, please remember this and tell it to the DW changers and submiters that:
A: The Posters of Ada Wong will not be changed because it has my name credited on it.
B: i am credited and the creator of the map.
C: Not too much off the static meshes are changed/moved or deleteted
And thank you for postive comments everyone, and keep on posting, and i really hope this is added to server with very little changes of my map, and dont forget to credit me as this is my map. :)

Sorry. Havent been messing with unreal editor since 2006. So cant help u much on here. Used to have lot of guide links which explain how to use unreal editor.
But i remember those staticmeshes could be embed as mylevel package but not to save them in staticmeshes window.
Though perhap if u include all files along with the map i might be able to fix them into mylevel which include rebuilt the map in editor.

Sorry you took it that way, was not rubbing it in, just thought I would post the rules for submission soyou would understand the process. DW would never steal or use someones maps without permission or giving them credit but sometimes the way you think a map should work is not the most efficent or best setup for our server. Therefore the disclaimer about changes being made if you want to see it on the server. I'm sure if you continue working with Wraith it will get up soon. :cheers:Haseoxth wrote:ACY , dont rub it in my face.
Oh and by the way positive comments is like someone saying I only want good things to happen to me all the time. Constructive critisism which is all that has been posted is a learning experiance and sometimes people say what you don't want to hear. You grow from it and become better, cannot demand only positive comments, you put your work out there.

No shame, no dishonor, will run away to fight another day!

just a thought, but i read somewhere (other than DW forums) that maps can be changed by anyone, they arent the property of the map maker once they're made available.
For instance, The End is a very popular map, its a Dark map made by {Dark}Fairy, and on our servers has the name DM-{Dark}The-End_V3, yet i never see Dark on the name on any other servers, and on most servers its been altered like with lighting, textures, health areas, doors, etc., and that is fine, the main thing to me is that people like the map.
Just a thought

the credit has to be given to map maker, what your saying is complet trash spin, someone could of made a map, no credit given to him, someone steals the map, enters it in some contest, and wins. How would you fell, so dont bring this garbage in. This is a players ok. So he should be credited.
