smash bros brawl anyone?

luckily gamestop actually knew what they were doing this time and i just got a ticket and watched a movie in my car while i waited.
anyway, i'm liking it so far...i tried a wifi match, but i probably won't be doing that again. the lag was pretty bad. i guess that's what you get for playing random people. also, my connection is not the best cause the wifi thing has crappy range. anyone in the southeast?

got it=)

I left the bar at 12:30ish, proceeded to go to the 24/7 walmart which refused to sell it to me even though it was in stock because they were selling it "at 8 am." Had to buy some household stuff with the wife anyway.

Drove by the gamecrazy on the way home that is 1/4 mile from my apt and there was still a line at 1:10. I was the 2nd to last person in line to purchase and they had a box of them.

Got home, played one single player and one online random. I didn't experience any lag at all, so can't say the same as cait... It is a lot of fun - im looking forward to playing you guys. The only thing is the % thingy is confusing. I'm sure I'll learn :blackeye:

This game is definitely fun. I played with Namu and his wife today for about an hour before i went into work with no lag on my end.

I guess a lot of people are having read issues? I have had no problem with my copy yet (*knocks on wood*)

I cannot wait for my next wii party!

the "read issues" is due to dust in the Wii, not the game itself. Brawl is a dual layer disc and if there's dust on the laser, it has a hard time reading it.

mine isn't having any problems reading but it is loud and the load times are kinda long for a nintendo game. but that may just be cause of the dual layer...i dunno

hmm. i had to clean my room yesterday so i only got to play for a couple hours. :blackeye:
so as long as my internets is back up by the time i get home i might be online tonight. i'd like to test the wifi again to see if it still sucks.

the random wifi servers are having problems - lots of em. best bet is to do the friend code. don't know if i'll be on tonight though - have COD4 practice.

anyone else get all the characters yet? Freakin' SWEEEEEET! I got them all through SSE (those that I didn't have unlocked already by playin 50+ vs matches). After you beat SSE, you should have most of them. Then you can go back through a couple levels and unlock the rest through doors that weren't there before. Search youtube for "unlock brawl" and it will come up with some videos showing where to go for the character you need.
