smash bros brawl anyone?
Ok, tell me, how is the game? Is it better than Melee? I think I might go out and get the system and Brawl if it is better.

I don't have a Wii. I could have bought one, but frankly, the roster disappointed me so badly, that I decided not to. Seriously, what was Nintendo thinking? Wolf? ROB? Captain Olimar? Ice Climbers?? Toon Link?? Where are the awesome masterpieces that Nintendo COULD have included, like Midna, Geno, Ridley, Krystal, Bomberman, MEGAMAN?
Unless downloadable content for Brawl is announced, and some of these characters become available, I won't be buying from them.

i think they already said that they wouldn't be doing any kind of downloadable stuff which kinda sucks...yeah, some of the character choices were not the best imo...like toon link and wolf(wtf)...and i was hoping for another earthbound character cause lucas is alright and his up smash attack is really good but he's pretty much a clone of ness.
and i'm not sure what happened with the mario rpg characters. you'd think with how popular they are that they would at least have made geno an assist trophy...i'm thinking it has something to do with square-enix. i dunno.
also, i just unlocked snake! he pwns.
anyway, my internet is back up. turns out it was my stupid wireless router that needed to be reset or something. hopefully i'll get to play someone today and see if it is less sucky using the friends list.

to answer the QUESTION.... YES, it's fun. DAMN fun. I like it better than melee. lots of characters, lots and lots of stuff to unlock and play. TON of content. Couldn't be happier.

I agree with Bean, this game is a blast. And you are being overly picky about the roster. I mean it is fricken huge. Think about the royalties/costs they have to pay to have some of these characters in here. Nintendo does not own them 100% I can only imagine what it cost to get Sonic and Snake in the game.

I'm not the only one who feels this way I'm sure. Besides, I'm not asking to have these characters augmented for free. I'd be willing to pay Wii Points to include them, just like any other downloadable addition to a game.

Holy cow, I just watched that awesome vid. Uhhh the old melee doesn't stand a chance. Marth was by far was my favorite character to use in the old one. Actually any character wielding a swift blade was my choice and also fox. After seeing this vid, Marth will still be my favorite because that sword attack is just pure chaos. I hope they did not mess with his ability to damage an opponent based on the distance. And I really hope he's still as fast as he use to be. Also, after seeing what IKE can do... Holy SH*T!!! Those combos are insane!!! Link's combos were also very impressive and stunning. All in all, great attacks for the bladers. A few of the other characters final smash attack were very cheezy. And I do mean very very. I hate how they messed up fox. That thing with the ship? Uhhh... A lil corny and weak for such a powerhouse. And what's up with Ness and Lucas? Kindda dull for SSBB to have two characters with almost the exact same lame final smash.

hmm...i just can't get in competitive gaming. i feel silly whenever i'm in a tournament, but i've only ever been in 1 tournament...and i don't know if you could even call it a tournament.
anyway, i played someone online last night from my friends list and it still lagged!!!
from what i'm hearing, most other people don't seem to be getting much at all. and it was someone who was somewhat close geographically.
can't you have a wired connection? what would you need for that anyway? cause it seems like that would be more reliable to have it connected directly instead of using wifi.
