i was thinking of getting it...but i kinda suck at games in general. i liked the first one but i hardly ever went online cause it was confusing and i couldn't really get into a server cause it seemed like people were already doing their own thing.
is the online similar to nwn1?

What's up Desko! Nice game eh, finish it yet I will be taking a look at it with my new 8800 gt in the next couple of days. Might give online a try with you sometime

No shame, no dishonor, will run away to fight another day!

It's fun, but truth be told, I enjoy actual D&D more. However, since I only meet with my D&D group once a week, this is a great substitute. The multiplayer has been quite buggy for me so far though...

It was alright but online there's a lot of "fake" items so to speak and several not fun glitches. If you play with people you know where they don't cheat then it may be alright, good story plot none the less.
To be forgotten is worse than death itself...
I tried it for a couple hours and thought it had potential but ended up hating it. I really disliked the camera angles and the overall gui of the game. I simply found it to hard to play it b/c of the controls and the way you interact with everything. They may have patched some of these issues b/c I heard many people complaining about these things quite a few months ago.

The camera angles bother me as well, but not to the point where it makes the game unplayable. The thing that really bothers me is that rogues seem slightly underpowered combat-wise compared to their D&D counterparts. I mean, I see fighters hacking down opponent after opponent with Great Cleave, doing 22 damage per hit (d8+4 =/= 22,) and my dual wield combat rogue just can't keep up.
