I had a real fun time this afternoon at the DW server, but something caught my attention:

The map: air mars, the game is going all too well for us smurfs :brilsmurf: then I noticed this guy on blue base, also on blue team, he was there shooting our own raptors until they fell down from the base... WTF? I think I wasn't the only one who saw him as someone pushed him into the base propeller where the turret is  Then there was another guy who threw me out of the base into the void with the shieldgun...

The thing is, why on earth would someone want to do that? Maybe he was playing on red and because they were being beaten he decided to take action, but this kind of action is just plain treason, I think. I've been taken to the opposing team several times because of disconnections, but still I play FOR that team!

Maybe I'm too old fashioned... :bigsmurf:

LOL Zerg. Yeah...I know those jerks. They're the same guys that pile 3 Hellbenders on top of the tower on Tricky. Though on AirMars you have to watch where you fly, I've been accidentally flung into the blades a few times, and if you can get a good position, knocking all of the OTHER team's raptors into the pit is a good (if bastardly) tactic.

If I would see anything like that happening and knew it was people on my own team, I would tell them to stop it, and if they continue, I would kick them for the next 20 maps.....

Thanks y'all! All these comments remind me how pleasant is to join the real players we have 'round here!

BTW Wraith, isn't kickin' a pleasure reserved for adminstrators?

Not entirely ThunderKiss. Normal players have the option to start a voting process to kick a player. Simply hit the "home" key when in game and navigate to the menu to select which player you want to kick. I am not sure how many people need to vote for it to take effect thought. Unfortunately, I have never seen this work, as many people do not know how to open the kick menu, or they never see the message that a voting for kick is in process. It is always worth a shot, and it may cause the person to correct their actions.

Cool! I used it today with great results, the guy didn't get kicked but he got the hint and stopped what he was doing, minutes later he went away.
