Spawn a linker

How cool would it be to be able to spawn a monster that would run (or fly) around behind you linking? It could be either a rare artifact drop, or possibly a way to boost the power of the medic up a bit.

How's that sound? Would that even be doable?

Pretty sure it would be doable, such as the health drone on some servers which heals you when you lose health, it follows you around and it looks like it links you to heal, sounds like a awesome idea, gj

This "creature" gotta be vulnerable/weak. We don't want to replace the low lvl linkers with this one & does it have to be a link gun?

Maybe a weapon specific creature or something so it encourages players to use unique weapons such as bio rifle & lighning gun.

ooohh make one that nerfs the power of the mine layer!!!!! that would discurage people from using it on certain waves, mabey earlyer ones so non weapon masters can get more kills, and not gets ksed by mines

maby have it extremely strong but it requires your adren for it to link and if u run out of adren it become vulnerable

or does it even have to be a monster? what about just an artifact that makes your link golden, it could count as one linker, but take up a little less adren than a triple

There's already a double magic modifier ability for AMs (Server 2 only)

Basically if you have energy flak +4
Apply the dmm you'll get a temp energy flak +8 as long as you keep your adren up. Adren drainage isn't as fast as tripling.

Ya, thats what i mean :), but the double ''Magic" Modifier doubles the magic ability, not the actual damage dealt, so if its quickfoot +2 double magic will make it +4 and make you go faster, not double the damage althoo its pretty much the same thing.....................I think...

The Damage modifier has a max of +4. When +1'd that's +5, and then when the double magic modifier is applied that's +10. Voila, double damage.
