Just a idea for us all to get our work into 1 map,
Make the submission date 05 october, which gives one month
And submit the maps via pm with a link to me and ill connect then send around for you guys to tell what you think and once we all believe its up to scratch we can submit??

1024^2x512 is not very big. Depending on the number of people I suggest you aim for bigger.
Also, you should probably work out how you want to join pieces together. If you've got four rooms and want them all connected in a big square, you'll want at least two doors where you can hook up passages.
My suggestion is design a single scene of roughly 5120^3 and hook them together like UT3's DM-Gateway or 2k4's DM-Seasons. That's probably your best bet for getting something reasonable.
