Server crash
I'm on CHARTER. I can play on other UT INV servers without problems (WOHCLAN). I have the same problem on DW Server 1 & 2 as everyone else. I eventually lose my connection. This happens every 10 secs to couple of minutes. Actually seems to happen quicker and more frequently now than Friday or Saturday.

I know for a fact that me, Karma Kat, Nightwolf and Kronos do NOT have the disconnect problem, sometimes I lose packets and that is normal for me. We reside in Texas, Florida and Louisiana. I know that Acy has the disconnect problem and I believe he is in Kansas, or Missouri.
Hopefully it will be fixed this week sometime.
If there are alot of disconnect/reconnects it can may make the server have a higher chance of crashing. But the server is not the cause of it. This happens on the ONS as well as the INV servers in regards to disconnects...

Glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing this..... well, sorta. At least I can assume that the problem is likely not my box.
Same symptoms here..... it's like a server crash, only I appear to be the only one affected at the given time. The game still seems to be going & I can hear myself get killed afterwards. This has been only over the last 4 days or so. After a couple times I'll leave & play COD4 or surf pron and everything's fine again.
I'm located in Toronto --nowhere close to hurricane territory --and use Rogers for a provider (biggest in the country). No idear about other techie details.
Thanks for looking into this DW :)

Well, on the plus side (for purely selfish reasons) - As a result of this issue, I discovered that my DSL/CABLE router was crapping out so i replaced it, I upgraded my bandwidth on Charter to the max, and if i can ever get back to the MM servers, I'll have a reallllly good connection!

Well since alot of you have spare time on your hands how about calling your ISP just for kicks and seeing what kinda BS answer they give you.
I hunted around on dslreports.com but I did not see much. Comcast has some problems but it has something to do with there CRAN setup what ever that is I need to google it.

The fact that some people are immune make me continue to lean toward a net issue. The fact that you can play on other servers without getting disconnected, only proves that theory even more as you are probably being routed differently.
However, something still doesn't feel quite right. I can't quite put my finger on it. I still have a couple of things I can try, but I'd rather not before I'm forced to.
For now, let's hold off on further traces. Let's see if over the next few nights people feel things are getting better, worse, or are about the same.
There's one thing I want to understand perfectly clearly however. This is a recent thing (meaning the last 5 days or so). This has nothing to do with the patch we applied two weeks ago, correct?
Thanks,
Rich (TW)
