Anyone have any experience using Awk (or derivatives) and might be willing to lend me a hand with a technical problem that I'd like to resolve using it?

But sadly, Wail, my programming experience with arrays is well...microscopic...so can't be of help sorting out a problem. Maybe try to drop Snaggle a note?
