I need a new video card.
Mine's a Geforce4 420mx

It's a stock card that came with the computer.

Well you want to upgrade your processor in one thread and your video card in this one. Unfortunatley you only have a pci and agp slot so upgrading your video card is not something I would recommend. As I stated in the other post your best bet is not upgrading your current system. If it runs UT and your happy save your money and look into upgrading the entire system. During the holidays you will find some great deals especially since Intel announced the following.
Intel Corp. has notified its partners that numerous of its microprocessors, some of which were introduced just months ago, will be discontinued after a certain date. In addition, the company will phase out its 1GB Turbo Memory flash module.
The processors set to be discontinued are Intel Core 2 Duo models E6850, E6750, E6550, E6540 and E4600 made using 65nm process technology as well as E8200 and E8190 made using 45nm fabrication process; Intel Core 2 Quad model Q9450. The company said that market demand for the aforementioned microprocessors has shifted to higher-performance Intel chips.
Plans to phase out rather powerful microprocessors – some of which will not be shipped starting from the first half of next year – means that Intel plans to introduce even higher-performance chips, which will inevitably put even more pressure on Advanced Micro Deivces, Intel’s main rival. On the other hand, customers of Intel will be able to enjoy chips with even higher speed at decent price-points.
Intel also discontinued Intel Turbo Memory 1GB module for ReadyBoost technology “due to the migration of the Santa Rosa platform and NAND flash production technology”.

Yeah, I 110% agree with Damaged. I was in your position in summer 2007, and just saved up until Fall and built a new machine, and I am very glad I did. AGP 8X is ancient, and to put even 25$ into your machine is crazy. Keep your eye on bfads.net for black Friday deals and you might be able to buy a pre-built computer or parts for a new one at amazing prices. Good luck.
