Server Refused to Send File Error

Well looks like we have for the first time in the many long years of DW history run out of BandWidth at the redirect . It should come back up automatically on the first day of the month , we are going to take some actions to try and assure this doesn't happen again .

In the meantime you can find maps for MM at the home page under downloads

i still can't get on at all. even if i have the maps. =[ what can i do.

What error are you getting.

cant find a file called DWRPG

That's strange; I know you're not supposed to extract it, but it must either be in your cache or system folder to get on MM. Exact name is DWRPG.u btw... :scratch:

I didnt think of it until today, but I enabled the allow downloads from server to true so you can get mutators/maps etc, although its very slow at doing it, at least it will help those who need the dwrpg files etc. Tomorrow I will shut it off so everything go back to the fast redirect....

Wish I'd thought of it sooner...

P.S. set your cache expiration to a higher value, from the default 30 days to something like 300, just open your ut2004.ini file in notepad, (open ut2004 folder, then open up the system folder listed under the ut2004 folder, and the file is in there.) andsearch for the line that says "PurgeCacheDays=30" and change it to say PurgeCacheDays=300 and then it will keep the files for 300 days, otherwise after 30 days it deletes them and you have to re-download the files, whether its maps, mutators etc...

Looks like its going full speed now. I will reconfigure it back to what it used to be in the next day or so....
