Alright, as of 2 days ago my computer has been acting up only while playing UnrealTournament2004. At first I thought it was concerning the maps we were playing. I've been getting a variation of BSOD or 'Blue Screen Of Death'. After which my entire computer would automatically restart after saying, "Dumping Physical Memory" and a bunch of other words I failed to notice. Its happened a total of 4 times since then and I was concerned.

Now ive reinstalled UT2K4 to fix the problem yet im missing my 'Play Disc'. Now at first, I worried and panicked while running around looking for it, but UT2K4 seems to work. Now I have tried to go and join the DW Invasion Server 1(Chicago) and sometimes I get in and it takes me awhile until it crashes mysteriously. Its crashed 3 times so far, the first time I joined my name was changed from MrJoe to '3780'. The second time it was changed to 'Player'. The 3rd time it finally went to MrJoe, when I finally got to move around I was level 25 and couldn't do anything because of shock that I just went from lvl 100 to lvl 25 in just a few minutes.

Could someone help me with my computer problem and possibly a UT2K4 client download? I'm thinking because of my missing play disc I may not be able to play like normal. And I am praying its not too much to ask if my levels may be returned? I believe I have a few people to vouch for me if necessary, I just want to play again >.<.

And if anyone could help me with the crash, here is the critical error:

1st of all the game will play without the play disk so thats not the issue. When you reinstalled the game did you uninstall and then delete the UT folder before reinstalling the game? Do you have the latest patch installed I believe it's 3369. Are you spelling Mr Joe the correct way (I know it's obvious that it would be hard to mispell it) but there are 2 places in the settings that require your name so make sure those are correct. It looks like the map AlienOutpost had an issue so you may try and redownload it from file front. Delete the current one and use the link from the the website under downloads to download it again. As far as the Blue screen and physical memory dump it could be anything from drivers to hardware. Kind of hard to narrow it down but you can look in event viewer under control panel/admin tools/event viewer to see if that gives you any help. If your spelling your name correct and your lvls are not back you can contact Wraith and he should be able to help you with that.

Hope this helps.

Hmmm do you think its a problem with all of my maps? I was playing AmazingOasis and I pressed U to use my artifact and, I crashed and got this error...

I'm getting the same thing every time. I log on and join a game, double click on the server. Connect to the server (Usually I expect a download, especially since I just reinstalled the game but it didn't). I get in no matter what wave or time of wave, and I crash with this:

Critical Error:

I desperately need help with this, I can't even play anymore >.<

When you reinstalled the game and connected to the server did all the DWRPG files get downloaded?

You may have to uninstall the game again, delete the UT folder, reinstall the game and the latest patch and connect to the server so you get all of the downloads. Something could have become corrupted on your last installation thats causing the problem. I know I had a problem like that once and instead of trying to fix it I just uninstalled, deleted UT folder and reinstalled and it fixed the problem.

Hope this helps.

I thought after you entered your name correctly in the stats config you got those back.

Well back to work for me hope you get things resolved.

When you attempt to "re-install" What I would do is make sure to go to your main drivve (c:) and delete the ut2004 folder and the files that are remaining in it in its entirety (after uninstalling it thru the add/remove programs list first)...

I'm willing to bet that it fixes everything up, and don't forget to apply the patches to bring it up to 3369 or whatever that last one was again.

You must have your CD/DVD install discs to do this. Buy a new set if you don't. The game is cheap!!!

While your at it, make sure to update windows....patch tuesday was last week...

I have just checked, and server 1 you are at level 100, you never lost your levels...server 2 is at level 48. Make sure you use the same name when logging in....
