This is a movie of me playing in Monster Mash server 1 and 2. I used Fraps and windows movie maker to make it. Part 1 is the headshot section :snipe:, part 2 is the combowhore section :shock:, part 3 is the holyshit kill and redeamer kill section :rock:. Hope you like it.

That just prove that you receive very little xp, not that monster can actually be "damaged". The retaliation and coutershove skills have both being developped for a Player VS player game type and it is actually working great on TDM rpg game, but not on players VS Monsters like INV. This is why countershove only work on 3 monsters species and retaliation is barely effective.

BTW the retaliation skill have also been taking out of the UI servers list because the guys there also realise how "futile" this skill is in an Invasion game type.

In any case the enormous cost this skill need do not value the little amount of xp it could probably gave you. This is why retaliation weapon have been indroduce. Those weapons will actually hurt monster (for real) and give much more xp then what your video is showing.

I have to agree the amount of xp you get comes no where near the amount you get from the retal weapons.
But it is showing it is working. I have seen health going down from monsters. not much but it was going down. Ill try to fraps that aswell.
And afaik the code of the retal weapons is the same as the one of the ability so it should work.
But the weapons retaliate over 200% of the dmg the ability only 50% at max level. and that doesnt include your DB or the DR of the monsters.
But I hope this convinced you the ability does work. It may not be worth all the points you spend on it but it is working. And I hope in the future you can get to retal level 15 to make it worth more.
And im not trying to argue with your 3 year experience like you said in the game im just trying to show im not lying about this.
