I hereby challenge any and all players on DW and the admins themselves to a 6v6 ONS match you can pick any 6 people you want to go up against any six I pick. The stakes on our end are the right to choose to delete from the map rotation any three maps we would like to see deleted.
You can turn down this challenge, but that would hardly be what a true gamer would do.
The gauntlet has been thrown down. Respond as you will. I anticipate meeting you on the field of honor.

Well, I'm glad all you masked marauders still play now and then. And you have such strong opinions (surprise!). I would be dissappointed if you did not.
I actually had a conversation with ST about tweaking some maps. I'm thinking of taking him up on it.
With all that said, we are first and foremost a server built by the public for the public while recognizing ourselves, and many people out there, have the need to engage and invest in a skilled match. We have the unenviable position of trying to cater to both the spam crowd, and the "pro" crowd. I cannot remove all the maps you don't like.
I can prove that it doesn't work. We tried to go more "pro." We tried to get maps that required more skill. We listened to people who talked about less vehicles, less tanks, etc. You know what? Our playership declined by 25% in about 3 months.
If I thought it could be done, I would be happy to open another server with "pro" sanctioned maps for 32p. We tried two servers once too. Know what happened there? Split playership. Half the people played on one, and half the other. Neither one could gain that mass effect, where the number of players would draw more attention and take it to 32. We lost playership.
So we've tried to "pro" it up. Didn't work. We tried another 32p server. Didn't work. So this is what we are left with.
I cannot release a server which will canabilize SV playership. If you guys want a server with a more serious angle, we could try it. Maybe 18 peeps?
Other than that, all fun aside, no one dictates to me what maps play or do not. God knows, I wretch at the sight of some of them too, and bail. But if the people love them, they stay. It's not about me, or you, or ST. It's about the community that has built up here and what they want.

PS I would love a scrim.
