No i don't think it's that. I myself lose the connection by router path alot. When that happend, all the DW server in my favorite list display N/A as the ping and all others works fine (meaning the path between me and Chicago is broken). In WinMTR, it is usualy the router #8 that keep disconnecting like this. But that had NEVER crash my client and/or cause a computer freeze (by freeze i mean permanant, need to press the reset btn and restart windows for resolving this).
A client crash provoqued by an error on the client side can be tracked by the game system and the debugger will therfore display the infamous "critical error" that averybody know. But what if the error causee a freeze. Therefore the internal debugger cannot start and "throw" a critical error because the game is "frooze". What i'm wondering here is, if it's only my game (client) that cause this then why sometime some people get this kind of crash at the same time. By that i mean that when that happend, it will aslo happend to 2 or 3 others players that where in the server at that moment. This is why I think it is a server bad/corrupted packet that the client cannot process correctly and therefore make the client crash by freezing.
What the hell just happened...? Hacks?
