Well, no matter how you look at it spawn killing is apart of the game. Heck, on some maps, if you don't spawn kill you will not win. As for Vic, he does take vehicle camping to a new level, but at least he is good in the tank. I occasionally find myself as a tank whore, but not to the point where I will sit there and do nothing unless I am in a tank, or even stand in the spawn point so no one else can get it. Not that I am implying that Vic does all these things, I am just saying if you are playing on a public server expect these things to happen. There are other people who make the game more detrimental in a wide variety of ways.
Also, if you hate his tanking whoring so much, devote your entire time to countering him. I know many people will work together just to take out Vic, its hilarious to me. “Bitch Slap loads up, people see Vic on the roster, and a few shout out they will be going after Vic the whole time.” Just keep in mind there is counter for every strategy in this game.

GUYS!!! I found a surefire way to once and for all deal with those annoying spawn campers/tank whores/nuke whores/ manta whores/ all-around-UT2004 douchebags: WAVE A REALLY POWERFUL MAGNET OVER YOUR HARD DRIVE!!! It's amazing!! Next time you turn your computer on, voila, no more annoying jerks!!
The coolest way to drop a tank is to get above it and jump on the turret and just hit it with your primary Flak. Also works on a Levi...takes a skilled driver to nail you.
If someone is spawncamping and you only have one node or the core to teleport to, well face it, they've got your number. But that's when it's fun to try out some crazy suicide charges or some other fun things. Or you can just get the majority of your team to go have a dance party out back until the core is gone. I'm always up for a good dance party...

Alright, here the shiz on dealing with tanks:
Avrils at a distance, Flak up close. Avrils mostly distract a good tanker unless you've got him in the open; there's ALWAYS something he can dodge behind. Flak at point blank, on the other hand, is death for a tank, especially if you've snuck up behind him (watch the way the TURRET is pointing, not the body!). Just dodge away from the turret, and you'll be a problem; he CAN turn faster than you can dodge, but at the very least you'll put a few hundred damage on him and your buddy can finish the job.
Vic is a special case because he REALLY knows what he's doing. The best thing to do if Vic's whoring the tank, is kill it and key a man on Vic. If you can keep him out of the tank, or keep picking off the tank before it gets anywhere, you'll be in much better shape; Vic's only an average player outside of the tank, and if he keeps getting caught up in minor battles before getting where he needs to be (note: he won't willingly cause this - YOU cause this), he won't contribute to much besides his score. :)

Either way, people here have given you plenty of strategies to take out, not only a tank whore. But also to take out Vic in particular. Why don't you work at becoming a better player than him?
Everytime I see SlayerOS on the other team I get pissed because I know I am going to die alot. However, he makes me become a better player because I hae to adapt to his superior skills.

Well I suppose if you're so bad that you can't land 4 Avril rockets or a few flak shells on a tank, that the only thing to do is RUN AWAY. What's also a good thing to do is if it's coming over the crest of a hill, shoot the bottom. It can't hit you until it's righted itself and by then it'd be dead/almost dead.

And, Shiner, hun, if you would actually read, you would find that most people don't like Vic either, but they don't give him the satisfaction of ruining their gameplay. That would really be letting him win, and well, nobody wants that. So lighten up a bit man, it's only a game, and there are ways around the tank, and ways around Vic, too.
