Trying to develop a plan of action. I guess the first thing we could do is see if anything relates to anything that already exists so we could use that as a reference. Lets break this down.

This still wouldn't fix the level imbalance since high level players could kill the low levels in a single blow unless you're planning on having a low cap on db or providing low levels additional dr.

The main problem with having bots substitute for the missing levels is that bots are bots and they can never think as strategically and work as a team with players as humans do.

It's easier said than done. What will the mage have that will only kill field medics? How can the field medic slaughter a merc? Planning is needed here.

This is bound to happen though, the high levels are going to yell at the low levels for sucking. Then the low levels may be a bit discouraged to continue. This sounds like it's going to be a competitive gametype and since half the team wins and the other half loses, players will get sore once in a while (especially when their levels is on the line).

For starters I think the best idea is to work on the gametype.
You mentioned this will be a subclass of Assault. So I get this clear, one team attacks, the other team defends? Are objectives structured the same way as in default Assault? Do players win by beating the objectives the fastest or before time runs out? What are the win/lose conditions? If it is time limit, how will the time limit be determined? Do players switch sides between rounds if there are multiple rounds? Is there unlimited lives?

Earlier you mentioned that you were thinking about making this mod. Is it safe to presume that you already have coding experience, or do you want help getting launched into the modding world? Did you already began this project or is it still in the planning stage?

I was saying Assult gametype because thats the best i could match with the idea. I want people to get the idea of full scale bloddy war when playing. With that unlimited lives, no time limit, and you have to 1:Break through the first line of guards (My idea is to make a gate they have to break down maybe. That are just a line of guards befending the next objectinve.) 2:Kill a group of mages/necromancers. 3: Destroy the crystal holding up the magical barrier protecting the boss. 4:Kill both the boss AND her/his bodyguard. And, if its possible, i want both teams to try and do this at once. so offensive players are intercepted or its a race to beat the other team. or keep them away from the gate as much as possible. Fast paced adrenaline pumping battles that'll make them wanna come back. And also because of this idea we wont focus on many maps. maybe like 3 seeing as how 1 map could be going for days. I want the boss to be able to ressurect the mages and i want the mages to be able to build the crystal again (I.E. Boss resurrecting mages/necromancers in 20 minutes. If attacked the process ends. or Necromancers building crystal completion in 10 minutes). We could put up a rule for no hurtful attitude or language etc. breaking rule once your IP number will be banned for a week. break it again your IP will be banned permantally. Later once we're done with everything we can make an announcement explaining the rules before it realises. You DO NOT switch sides unless you want to permantally reset or make another character (Sandias has reset Sandias-Evil/ Sandias-Light has joined the game). What I mean by field medic beats merc mages beats field medic merc beats mage is you can buy certain resistences to some damage types but not the other. I.E. Knight Armor has resistence to bullets and metal but not ice or fire or lightning. Yes i mean the more lower lvls on the higher the bot lvl with be. i dont plan the bots on assulting just defending so teamwork wont be a problem they'll just stand around the gate defending it with their lives. So lower lvls can help them with that and stand behind them like they're their personal meattank and shoot people which would give EXP. I dont plan on any DR or DB. Different classes will do different things. I.E. Knight tanks mage damages and buffs and field medic heals. After testing we can balance it out to where a Knight can withhold the damage of a mage by himself but with a team behind him they over power the solo mage. a mage can beat a Knight on his own but if he has a team behind the Knight the mage needs a team in front of him for protection. Also i was thinking about Sub-Classes. At least 2 for every class 3 for some. I.E. You pick mage. Then you could either be a Damage Mage, Summoning Mage (Or justs ummoner), or a Buffing or Support Mage. With this we could allow us further bakance capabilities and give the players more options to play. Also makes it their "Specialty" which would be pretty cool to be able to specialize. Knights can be damage or tank mages can be healers or damage Mercenary might have the choices to be a minor one of each (I.E capable of doing minor damaging at the same time minor tanking. A more balanced class altogether). Any more questions? And is there a way to do this on instant messaging one day?

Seems very map specific here. Attacking team vs defending team with bots and monsters if I'm not mistaking.

Defending team tries to delay them as long as possible.

First of all there is NOT an attacking team or a defending team. Both teams attack AND defend at the same time. That's when the no time limit and unlimited lives come in. Match ends when one of the teams complete all objectives. People may chose weather to help defend or to help offend even though i suspect that, most of the time, all players will like to offend in one big group. Yes i have though of classes. some i thought of specifics some i havent. I agree on the Vent idea though if i were to use it i'd have to buy a new headset with a mic.

Team:Living. Main task: killing or supporting. Sub-Classes:Elemental Mage, Summoner, or Life Mage.Elemental Mage's primary objective is to kill every enemy in site and keep pushing them back. Summoner's primary objective is to keep 1 powerful or 2 weaker reinforcements to help drive back the enemy. Life Mage's main task is to keep everyone alive with their PBAoE healing and shield giving powers. Since these hvae 3 subclasses instead of 2 it is going to be longer. And since they are also more complicated to explain this class will probably be cut to 2 or 3 different parts. Before i can tell you their powers i must first explain them. To keep from overpowering other classes with their raw magic damage i decided it might be best to limit there 'ammo' to even less than other ammo using classes. So i've come up with megic crystals. There'll be fire,ice,lightning,wind,earth and water crystals for the Elemental Mage. For the Life Mage there'll be life and protecting crystals. Summoners have no damage source of their own so the pet limit, which will most likely be up to two, will keep them in balance for the most part. Just thought i should tell you that before their abilities. Lets move on. Elemental Mage's primary skills:Bolt Magic max level 6: Level 1: Teaches you how to cast Fire. Level 2: Teaches you how to cast Ice. Level 3: Teaches you how to cast Lightning. Level 4: Teaches you how to cast Wind. Level 5: Teaches you how to cast Earth. Level 6: Teaches you how to cast water. Fire is a bolt fire with a minor splash damage. Ice is a bolt fire that spreads like a flak. Lightning is a powerful and fast bolt. Wind is a knockback. Earth is a big bolder that does far less damage than a titan to avoid mages becoming OP but its a close ranged bolt that can hit multiple targets at a time. Summoner's primary abilties:Summon Aeons max level 3: Level 1: Summons Elemental Aeons. Level 2: Summons Guard Aeons. Level 3: Summons Assassin Aeons. Shadowy Protection max level 5: Level 1: 10% of all damage done to the summoner will be given to the Aeons. Level 2: 20% of all damage done to the caster will be given to the Aeons. Field Medic:Team:lving:Main Task:Healing and Debuffing.Sub-Classes: Medicine or Poisen. Before i start on this class i want to clear a few things first as well. You start out with an Injecting Gun which can shoot both poisen or medicine maddering on what sub-class you chose. If you chose medicine your primary fire will be a minor burst heal on one target and your alt fire will be a heal over time on 1 target. If you chose poisen then your primary fire will be a single target DoT and your alt fire will reduce the attack power and defense on a single target (Or if we were referring to Monster Mashes then it'd reduce DB and DR of a monster). Primary skills for a Medicine Field Medic: Injection Gun:Medicine max level 4: Level 1: Burst heal heals for 40 damage and DoT heals for 4 damage per second over 10 seconds. Level 2: Burst heal heals for 80 damage and DoT heals for 8 damage per second over 10 seconds. Level 3: Burst heal heals for 120 damage and DoT heals for 12 damage per second for 10 seconds. Level 4: Burst heal heals for 160 damage and DoT heals for 16 damage per second for 10 seconds. Stregnth Charm max level 4. Level 1: Gives everyone around you double damage for 25 seconds. Level 2 Gives everyone around you double damage for 50 seconds. Level 3: Gives everyone around you triple damage for 25 seconds. Level 2: DoT deals 7% of their maximum health into damage every second for 5 seconds and DeBuff increases all damage done to the target by 7% for 15 seconds. Level 3: DoT deals 9% of their maximum health into damage every second for 5 seconds and DeBuff increases all damage done to the target by 9% for 20 seconds. Level 4: DoT deals 11% of the the targets maximum hp into damage every second for 5 seconds and the DeBuff increases all damage done to the target by 11% for 25 seconds. Witch Hunter:Team:living:Main Task:Killing enemies.Sub-Classes:Ranged or Melee. Primary skills for Ranged: Dual-Pistols max level 3: Level 1: allows you to wield 2 pistols at once. Level 2: Increases the amount of ammo and damage your pistols have by 10%. Level 3: Increases the amount of ammo and damage of your pistols by 20%. Glue Bomb max level 5: Level 1: Teaches you how to make a Glue bomb which slows the movements of all who are caught in it by 10%. Level 2: Slows the movements of all who are caught in it by 20%. Level 3: Slows the movement of all who are caught in it by 30%. Level 4: Slos the movement of all who are caught in it by 40%. Level 5: Slows the movement of all who are caught in it by 50%. Primary skills of Melee: Dual-Blades: teaches you to wield 2 blades at once. Level 2: Increases the amount of damage of both blades by 15%. Level 3: Increases the amount of damage both blades do by 30%. Leather Armor max level 4: Level 1: Reduces all direct damage by 5%. Level 2: Reduces all direct damage by 10%. Level 3: Reduces all direct damage by 15%. Level 4: Reduces all direct damage by 20%. And then whichever Sub-Class you chose. Incognito max level 4: Level 1: Allows you to go invisible at the price of 2 adrenaline per second. Level 2: Allows you to go invisible at the price of 1 adrenaline per second. Level 3: Allows you to go invisible at the price of 1 adrenaline every 2 seconds. Level 4: Allows you to go invisible at the price of 1 adrenaline every 3 seconds.

It looks like you're inventing an entire different game. This is more than just a mod. Unfortunately I don't have the software to create such things (like the sword and shield). I hope you have the tools capable of creating medieval weapons.
Things to make note of, this is RPG, and you have many classes with very specific/concentrated tasks and abilities. I can picture that it is very easy to purchase all abilities by the time a player hits their fifth level or something. Do you have other skills and attributes that may give players a reason to level up to 100?
