New Monsters. Concern on two of them.

I know you guys are still working on the server. But my only concern is that the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurs bite feels too weak. I know it sounds silly bring this up. But I figured because of their size and what they are known for. They would do more damage. Just my opinion.

I've already sugest some major changes in the private MM update section of the forum. Basicly, remove weeker monster on higher waves (from 8 to 15) and change monsters of wave 10. Also sugested to bring the metroid back on wave 1.
Has for the dinotopia monster, I've already sugested that they should be stronger (in damage), faster (in speed) and have twice less HP, and also give more score/adren upon kill.
Those monster are not defenetive and they will probably changes. The idea is to bring back the team score from 25K to 35K again or even more (let's hope!).

Sounds good Franky. understood y'all gotta play with it and adjust stuff to find the right stuff.
last night, i found the dinos:
boring, too hard to kill, too little xp, not at all dangerous, too slow, not enough dmg dealt by them, blah blah blah the list goes on
all in all it was really difficult to rack up a decent score,
and yet it was really really easy to breeze through the waves without ever feeling any threat or challenge.
basically the dinos are using up precious space in the game, taking place of monsters that used to to challenging and dangerous.
looking forward to seeing what the DW wizards will cook up next keep up the great work

Yes I feel the same way. Those dinos need some serious tweeking to be a chalenge and they must be more rewarding. Basicly increase their agressiveness (DB/Speed) while reduce their defenses (HP/DR) to keep a good balance and increse the score/XP they gives.warhead2 wrote:all in all it was really difficult to rack up a decent score,

Yeah, I think the goal at this point is to make it so that T-Rex and Spinosaurus have a medusa-like effect to kill anyone who even sets eyes on them.

That actually would be kinda cool for this reason: Most of the dinos are basically uninteresting. having said that, i should also say that i love the addition of the non dino critters like ion warlords, 'fuzzy' titans, and etc. way cool and loving it.
pls bring back the sandwich titan we love him. hey how about a seeker only wave? ooo i would so like that....

LOL! Sorry warhead but those titans are Tony coding and they are the major cause of the lag in the server. After alot of investigation we figure that they cause a memorry leek over time and those sandwich projectile are very badly handled by the system trash colector after being thrown (<--- remember how many time players got killed by "invisible" sandwich).warhead2 wrote:pls bring back the sandwich titan we love him.

I could support all of these reasons in more detail, but I don't want to write a page+ right now.
Here the modif we should do:
Wave 1 --> replace manta by metroid
wave 2 --> replace gasbag by giant gasbag and replace razorfly by metroid
wave 3 --> replace Razor Fly by Mole
wave 4 --> replace Ice Skaarj by behemoth and remove ArticSlith
wave 5 --> replace behemoth by mini queen
wave 6 --> replace Mole by Blue Raptor and remove gold angus
wave 7 --> replace DWTitan with Mini-Titan
Wave 8 --> remove skaarj sniper and replace volcanic slith by gold angus
wave 9 --> remove raptorB, Fire skaarj and Gunwalker
wave 10 --> replace grass titan with DWTitan, seekers with Gunwalker and fleshbinder with gold Angus
wave 11 --> replace enlighned with QueenB
wave 12 --> replace the shrikes with AdvHuge ArticSlith and queenA with Mechanical Queen
wave 13 --> replace volcanic slith by Adv volcanic slith and replace all other sliths by Fury Titans
