Does the Death Warrant server push models?

The reason I ask this is when I was on Death Warrant Spam Vikings and we loaded the map Classic Evil Dead Redux, almost as soon as I spawned, the game crashed to the desktop with the following error:
UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]

OS: Windows NT 6.1 (Build: 7600)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2004 MHz with 4095MB RAM
Video: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 (678)

General protection fault!

I asked about this on another board and they told me it was due to the lack of a KarmaData file in my installation for a custom model that someone may have been using on the map that caused the GPF when the custom character died. However, I have never experienced any server pushing custom models to people's computers when they play online. Jakob is simply used in their place.

I use the raptor model, but I do have the .KA file installed in the KarmaData folder.

So my question is simply, what can I do to prevent this from happening again when I play on Death Warrant?

I get game crash's every now and again for no reason. Really wouldn't worry about it doing it once , something may have just glitched. If it becomes persistent I would delete that map file entirely and download it from server something may be corrupt.

I did a quick check of this map..there aren't any custom textures, meshes, etc. It only uses stock files from the original UT.

I've seen those types of errors before...various causes from bad memory to corrupted files.

Definitely delete the file from your UT Maps folder -and- also delete it from your UT cache (you'll need a cache extractor to do this). This way, the next time you're in a server and that map gets voted into play, it'll download a clean copy to your machine.

File deleted. Will vote for it next time I play and see if the crash happens again.

It's possible the error is related to the Raptor, Badger [or one of the Dino] models. I've seen these models throwing out Karma-related errors before (however, I've also seen stock models throwing out Karma-related errors before as well. So it might just be the Karma physics being weird every once in awhile).
