Naah. I hate the mantas. And the raptors, tanks, cicadas etc. I only have any ability with wheeled vehicles. So scorpion and levi are my main weapons. SPMA has its uses and the hellbender can be an awesome vehicle in the right spot.

Nothing beats the scorp for fun on some maps though. Scorpion on spiffingrad is my favorite Unreal experience.

I couldn't agree more with you, Vic. But you do see the other side? It's very frustrating for noobs and pros alike to be smeared with a Manta or hammered with a Tank over and over and over again. The difference is that seasoned pros eventually learn how to retaliate, while noobs whip out their hankys and have a good cry.

Then there's always the standby argument, "But in real life soldiers do whatever they have to do to win the war." Although there are such things as battlefield ethics and conventions, it really depends on the situation. In Bitchslap, I love to get up on the right side of the second-story pillboxes and just fire head-level sniper shots into the door that opens in front of the energy turret. I guarantee that I could get 30-40 headshots doing this the entire three rounds, but as soon as I get my 15 and hear that lovely "HEADHUNTER" I make a conscious effort to do something different and vary my game play. I take a break and try to avoid the excessive and easy sniper kills.

I'm not saying anyone else has to do this, but it's an effort toward gaming ethically for me. The nuke on BS is a different story. Because it's hard to get, if there's someone on the other team camping it (Quake...a couple others who I usaully get into some heated nuke battles with) I will try to get it as much as possible. Nothing like dropping that bomb right into the tank bunker when there are 5-6 guys down there linking the tank or running around.

And you're missing most of the point. Yes most of of this is whining. And I personally enjoy the challenge of taking you out. But others make a valid point. You don't USE the tank, you think you flat out OWN it.

I am a complete Raptor whore, and it's almost always the first vehicle I look for. But if I can tell someone was headed for a Raptor, but I can get there faster, I will back off and let that person take it. Whether I think I will do a better job with it or not is not the point.
I will share vehicles with people. How do you ever expect people to get better in tanks if they play with you? They never get to use them.

Like I said, personally, it brings me that much more joy taking you down, but that's me. And like I said before, if I ever catch you or some else pushing people out of the way, or sabotaging a spawn point just to get a vehicle over and over again, they're going on a nice long vacation.

Almost 13,000 Goliath kills with a 92.9% efficiency? And only 250 hours of play time? It's impressive in a way, but mayhaps you could work on some other skills and rounding out your game? I'm not saying it to be a dick, just as a friendly suggestion.

Bomzin has impressive Goliath stats. Around 15,000. A little ahead of Vic, but with 1750 hours of play time!!! Just to put it in perspective.

Vic, man...I don't hate you!
I don't always agree with your methods, but I respect your tank skills. The only time you're an enemy is when you're on the opposing team! And if I'm having a crappy night, I just stay the hell away from you! :compress:

On the other hand, if you're on my team, I'll be back there linking ya, because it is a team game! (wish more people would remember that!)

Sweaters makes a good point about ethical gameplay. I get frustrated at spawn campers and vehicle whores. I've learned how to deal with the campers, but there's no action I can take with people who consistently hog vehicles except to appeal to your sense of fair play. I know I'm not as good as you in a tank, but that doesn't mean I don't want to try! Don't get me wrong....I like winning...but it's important to me to have great time playing as well...win or lose.
