Not on Arcis, but play Barn War against someone with hitscan skills and you won't make it past the first weapon locker.

The problem I have with the SS in ONS is that it is like UTcrack. People forget about nodes (they gotta get that SS), and once they get it the urge to instagib further clouds their minds to the point where starting/attacking a node becomes as unnecessary as going to work, eating or showering.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who read binary, and everyone else.
4013 is only a FAD
And 2989? Well that's just BAD

It can help with comebacks on dreamus. I was able to hold the tunnel for a full minute and give my team a chance so there is something to it. 3-4 in the tunnel and I dont think you can get anyone in there.

I thought I'd try this map (Dreamus-2-SVE) one more time just to be fair to the map....Unfortunately, it still sucks as an ONS map.

- .. the map is 98 % still the same as originally created - Fact is Im yet to see 2 people leaving the server or trashing the map because of the existance of a SSR in it , you know we have to please a whole crew out there .. However thanks for your input, it's always so appreciated -.

I used to hate Dreamus, but since Ive been working on my shock combos I started to like it. First ever combo whore, and I had 5 of those in one match.

I personally apologize for ONS-Stonehaven...

Anyone mind filling me in on what was bad about it? The walkways? Spawning points? Wep/Vehicle loadout?
Basically what I'm asking is, can it be reworked?

It's been a long time since I've played that map, so take these comments with a grain of salt. Also probably take a look at the Titan 32p version of it that I think improves it (although that one still has some issues I'm mentioning)

Fundamentally, I think the map is a little too large. There's also issues with mobility of non-Manta vehicles. Mantas are the most dominant vehicles in stock ONS, being really fast and mobile -- That non-hover/flying vehicles are limited on this map by the architecture/terrain only emphasizes the importance of Mantas and other fliers. Overall, these factors result in gameplay that is determined by whoever can fly a Manta/Raptor/Cicada most quickly to the nearest node and destroy it before your own corresponding node gets destroyed. Not much possibility for good on foot battles (no real interior areas) or strong tank positioning locations.

Thank you for the feedback. I've been getting back into mapping a little bit and since it's getting slow at work for the season I may be able to do something about it.
