Great graphic, Bomzin. Your point about getting to the next node if the one you're at is locked is VERY important, especially in Maelstrom. Building to full in Maelstrom is a waste, you should be touch and go and let the guys on foot and in the slower vehicles follow up on the nodes.

On Maelstrom-NV, working in two waves is amazingly cool, your node will always be up the second you step on it. :)

To add on to what Zax said, its really important to learn how a vehicle works if you want to influence the outcome of the round.

Time and time again I see people jumping in the tank on Spiffingrad, and making no use of it at all apart from increasing their scores.

To use each vehicle efficiantly its worth spending time playing against bots learning exactly what you can do and what you cant. People have already said it but DONT leave a vehicle. Better to die in the vehicle than let the enemy get the advantage.

If you want to learn more watch out for people who are really good with a particular vehicle (jackal with the tank) and spend some time spectating them. It will also anoy the hell out of people but whore a specific vehicle for a couple of rounds practise makes perfect and playing against bots will only increase your skills so much. Playing against humans is what will really build up you skills.

One last thing if your at a node thats under attack and its being defended not only by you but other people in vehicles try to heal the node first but also heal the vehicles a tank or bender can easily dispatch an attacking force if people spend the extra couple of rounds healing it.

Vet - I'd rather be in a line than a ball, a line can turn. You can also zigzag around and do just about any formation in the same way. I've also confirmed that this is faster.

As for the thread being a bit confused...yeah, it didn't go quite the way I expected it to, but maybe if I were to take the juiciest tidbits out of here and consolidate it into a textfile, it'd be a better helper.

If you are in a Cicada or Hellbender and you get shot with a shock rifle, LOOK AT YOUR VEHICLE'S HEALTH. If you aren't loosing any health, that means you are being shot at by a teammate who wants a ride. If you have room, go back and let your teammate hop on.
