I'd like to thank whoever it was who was able to get my GUID globally banned by Epic.
You sir, are an idiot. No warning, no GUID check on TWL, no nothing. Just ban and go, thats the way to run things :cherry:
Correct me if i'm wrong, but according to email I recieved from Epic after my inquiry I was banned while using an alias during the map "Chainisilefinal." During that map I was whoring it up big time like I always do with the manta. I heard JowBlow say something along the lines of "he isn't even toggling it" and "so and so is gona love this."
So, I believe an explanation is in order. And if i'm mistaken about something please do tell.
Edit: I just recived word from Epic that my GUID has been unbanned, but I still want to know who did this :albino:.

Well im glad they took it off, i havent been playing much lately so i dont have the faintest clue who asked for it or w/e the process is. Hope this doesnt affect your appearence at our servers. Just take it as the ultimate complement manta whore. :compress:
rereading your post if it was chain isle yesterday it was eeks I was talking about. Hes not able to follow his target when two or more players are getting close to him. typical aim bot confusion.
For the record I do not ban anyone thats up to Toxic.
If I really feel like some one is cheating I demo it and send it to Dr.sin at abuse@epic.com .I have done that since Cains lairs days.
As of my last update I cannot do demorecs for some reason. I dont know why at this point. I have fraps but I think the UT version is more accepted.
As far as you cheating I dont even know what name you play with day to day so I have no idea if you are or not.
These are my own opinions and not the servers. I would check with Toxic and see what he says.
EDIT if your playing Zen? then I think when you fastweapon switch your not missing on your first shot. I specced you alot the last month or so. I didnt sent it in since its to hard to prove. Your third weapon switch to the LG you never miss your first shot and It goes right ot the edge of the character your shooting at. Very rare at close 1v1. You are aslo adding in funny misses like shooting way over people heads with the shock to knock the stats off as well.

Now, I don't condone scripting, but the manta whoring is nothing you can really bitch about. He's not hacking, nor is he unbeatable; he's respectably good, however, and knows Chains like the back of his hand. Even I find him hard to pick off, and I'm no slouch at stopping manta whores cold (I've seen newbies hide behind me).

OK, let's get a few things straight:
1. Epic can ban people at their own will. No one forces them to ban anyone.
2. UTAN can ban at their own will. No one forces them to ban anyone.
3. I personally have never submitted anything to Epic or UTAN. I take care of my own server, period.
4. While my admins have the power to ban, it is within the server only, and I have asked them to only ban someone who is spouting racial slurs, and who don't stop after being asked nicely to. Even if they suspect cheating, I require a demo before action is taken. I have received no demos of you.
5. I have no control over anyone submitting any kind of demos to Epic and/or UTAN.
I reviewed the chat logs and it was a player named eek who joe was referring to, not you. So that is a very large coincidence, but nothing more than that.
Someone submitted a demo of you to Epic and complained about something. I don't know who it was, and I don't know what the complaint was. But I think you're better off going after the bozo at Epic who banned you for no apparent reason, not the silly person who submitted a demo.
And BTW, 6lo is cool. No worries there, ok?

Alright well I was just posting to double check. I wasn't mad about it, the first email I sent to epic this morning was replied with a "your GUID was banned due to cheating, read our EULA about cheating." and since I play mostly on DW and having been accused a few times by random people, I thought I would check here first.
You can delete or lock this thread at this because it's a moot point now. I'm unbanned (was just playing) and I guess i'll never know who sent what to Epic, but that's cool i'm not an ethug wanting revenge. As TAM has shown the UT community, people do in fact cheat and it's very very difficult to sniff out a player using a trigger bot or radar. Morons do come around still using blatent aimbots and a ban is quick and easy for those cases. It should be obvious that a cheat for vehicles is impossible, and it would be incredibly stupid considering the tank and manta are so easy to use in the first place.
So with that I sincerly hope that nobody actualy thinks I cheat, because I love onslaught and have never used, tested, installed, looked into, or mused over a cheat for any game. I have actualy helped catch a few of the very blatent cheaters out there, one on the old ssgameservers 32p ONS server (who turned out to be a former clan player and had hundreds of aliases) and one the SCK server.
So yeah, thats my story and i'm stickin to it.

Sucks to be accused of cheating. I been accused of it several times...even by my own team. If anyone should get ban for running over people with a manta on ChainIsle it should be me. I am a big mantawhore on that map. The only thing more rewarding than 200 kills with a manta is 200 kills with a manta and your team wins. Yes it was a great game yesterday.
Those sorry bastards need to practice more. We can't help it if we are good.
