Suggestion: Energy weapon maker

Hi there,
what about giving all adren masters a energy weapon maker (1 use only)?
Adren masters need a few waves until they get started because they have to make their energy weapons. This isn't a problem from wave 1-5, but if you mid-game join it's quite hard to collect your weapons and to make them energy, especially if there are no other adren masters whose weapons you could copy...
As adrenaline cost i would suggest 100-200adren, because with 100adren, everyone could use it, and new players dont have to wait, but on the other hand the normal magic weapon maker already needs 100adren and the energy weapon maker is something special and should need more..
well thats at least what i think^^

Or maybe an energy weapon similar to the medic gun, it's just +1(and it gets better with each rank loaded artifacts bought?) but has unlimited ammo, so you can gather adrenaline a lot easier, but i'm not sure of the use of it :scratch:

The fact that it could take several waves for an AM to roll an energy weapon is an intentionally designed downside of the AM class. Plus, if all AMs could easily roll their own weapons, it would remove the need for AMs to copy energy weapons which is a vital game play aspect. I think this idea would cause more unbalance and therefore I don't think this would be a viable idea. Thanks for your suggestion.

I know there are two different people hosting the topics, but I still find it a bit funny how one thread says AMs are overpowered, while this one is suggesting an artifact to make their lives easier.

I´m an Adrenaline Master on Server2 and if there is an Energy Maker Artifact for AMs, would be boring for me, because it would be easier for all to roll nrg weapons. I like to roll nrg weapons for all players :ssmile: .

Sometimes i get my nrgs weapons after 4 or 5 rolls maybe more.... :scool:

Infinity Maker is okay, but Energy Maker is not important for AM.

I'm not sure what your lvl is, but i need 2-3 NRG weapons (depends on mine layer or not) to stay globed for one wave;

I usually need 5 or more uses to get an NRG weapon, and thats so much adren i can't afford 3 times after a mid-game join, because i dont have much health and i die pretty fast without globe and if there's no adren spot...i think you know what i mean ;)
But even with an adren spots it needs a quite a while to get started and i can't really move or play, so it's boring (and that while playing a game^^)

That copy thing: You sometimes really have a hard time to find somebody whose weapons you can copy AND to get to that particular weapon spot to copy it

And aren't the classes balanced now? as far as i can see, medics can take lots of damage as well as their pets can?

@chocoCakeapok@lypse It's 1 use only, so you can't roll your whole weapon set instantly and make weapons for all your teammates, i thought of that of course :D

No this would make it to easy. If no-one is able to roll a NRG weapon before the late waves, it would make the game more challenging, and team-work would be necessary.

And the map doesn't have to be beaten every single time.

Don't agree with the OP. If there was an energy maker than the point of my level 5x AM whould be nothing! :) I only play it to make weapons for people, usually petri, energy, infi :P

Energy modifier should be more common then other modifier taugh. For example I just found ridiculous that most of the time I get several (between 5 and 10 ...no kiding) infinity weapon before getting energy... not to mention the amount of skaarjbane and hunter between all those <-- insane!

It's one thing to suggest different weapons, but to have one separate artefact just to make an energy weapon doesn't make much sense.
Next you're going to ask to make a separate artefact for vorpal, or something of the genre.
The good thing about the server is that is challenging, like it should be, and so why don't you get into using other weapons too?

When I first started playing on this server, I suggested many other different weapon types and magic to go with them.
But what you have to realise is that you have to learn to use all different weapons for different situations.
If you can't roll an energy, then use piercing, or use a mini-gun of petrification, then switch to vorpal shock, or knock-back rocket launcher.
You would be amazed how much combo weapon-switching helps you out in this game.

I tend to use medic mine layer first, and then switch to infinite link, but if I'm using my other 2 classes, I use the petrification or freezing to slow down the monsters and then switch to vorpal or piercing to finish them off.
Another is to repel them if you are on a tight spot, by using rocket of knock back, and then switch to petrification, that way you will send them flying off, and then freeze them to give you enough time to get away.
There are hundreds of combinations you can have on your weapons, not just energy.
I suggest you learn to use them instead of complaining about not being able to roll an energy.
