jeez laweez. We are not trying to switch to a rpg weapon, we are looking for rockets.
Try this mouseup=pipeswitchweapon 8 | pipeswitchweapon 8
Here is my side mouse button . First click brings up rockets second click brings up flak, may have that vice a versa.
Mouse5=pipedSwitchWeapon 7| pipedswitchweapon 8
My other side mouse button brings up shock then lghting gun. Use the middle mouse to scroll to the odd stuff.
Again like I said. If you don't want the next weapon don't click the button. First click always brings up rockets , why not have second click do something. When you click again it goes back to previous click. So all you get is rockets and flak . What more could you want. :banana: :scratch: :banana:I know you just want rockets.......
Although the downfall to using scroll up for this is getting to the rpg weapons you need a way to go up or down a weapon set.
Key Binds
yup im with bomzin bind it to a key and don't press the key twice.
this is the huge issue with using scroll wheel, as it's hard to scroll just one click so you end up doing several scroll clicks and get the annoying alternating weapon, an issue you won't have if you just use a button instead of the wheel. i kinda doubt at this point a double pipe of same number will do anything here but worth a try.
for the annoying goop gun, try bumping the mine layer up in priority, that might make it come up first.
if that doesn't work, you can try a binding a double piped switch, as the 2nd command should bring up the secondary weapon.
if -that- doesn't work, you can do what i do: i just toss the dam gun and for me problem solved lol. i generally always toss the goop unless it's nrg/retlation and i don't have any other nrg/retaliation.

You can use this:
<key>=SwitchWeapon 3 | OnRelease SwitchWeapon 3
For this to work, you might have to press and hold the key slightly longer than you might normally. If you press and release very quickly it will switch to the goo gun, but if you press and hold for an instant before releasing it should switch to the mine layer once you release the key.
And if you buy fast weapon switching the time you have to delay release will decrease (maybe completely)
Note: This may no longer work correctly if you have multiples of your goo gun and/or mine layer.
Hope this helps.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who read binary, and everyone else.
4013 is only a FAD
And 2989? Well that's just BAD

Hi
You have all been very helpful. I'll try some of these commands. My guy who just started playing on your server as well already started throwing the gloop gun and the amril at the start but maybe you will need this later? So me I prefer to have a choice especially when I have low ammo regen and some negative magic.
We are deathmatch players and used to quick bind direct to a weapon for fast frag and have to change the keybinds we are used to
Thank you so much for your help. I will post again when I have tried these things more.... :smmm:

Keep in mind you can make a copy of your User.ini with different settings and you can choose which .ini UT2004 uses. Helpful if you use a lot of keybinds for different things and don't want to mess them up between gametypes.
Example of telling UT2004 to use a different ini:
C:\UT2004\System\UT2004.exe -userini=AlternativeUser.ini
