I just started playing on the Monster Mash server, and I am enjoying it so far. I have a couple of questions I was hoping to get answers to, but I can never seem to get any answers in game.
1) As I am new and low level, and don't like to hide I find my self dieing and spectating a lot. What is the number next to people's names when you are spectating them?
2) The requirements for awareness say you need to have 5 points in each stat, which I have, but it still tells me I can't buy it? Is something else needed?
3)How is experience awarded at the end of a map? Is it based on how many kills you have, is it static, or does it matter if you are alive when the map ends?
I tried to search on this forum for the answers, but because the forums are so old I get tons of results and too many threads to wade through. If you could answer my questions here or point me to the right thread I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks.
Love the Server
Thanks for your kind words. It's people like you that enhances the community :D
You're search for these questions are near conclusion.
By the way, welcome to the forums ;)

Make sure you have 105 adrenaline. Many people forget to add five into adrenaline.riseandtakeover wrote:2) The requirements for awareness say you need to have 5 points in each stat, which I have, but it still tells me I can't buy it? Is something else needed?
There isn't a condition where it checks how many kills or if you're alive or not. Everyone gets 1.5k experience at the end (excluding Summoned Monsters).riseandtakeover wrote:3)How is experience awarded at the end of a map? The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

Thanks for the response. I thought it was their health. I was trying to figure out how much health to shoot for and I noticed the big differences in the health of the people I was spectating. A couple even had really low health that never waivered even when being hit by high level monsters.
Thanks again for the answers.

Player who use the Globe of invulnerability can have very low HP and still own monsters no problem. This globe make you invincible has long has you have adrenaline to maintain it active. If you need more info, visit the Monster Mash Wiki at:

I got the reflex of the fly, now catch me if you can!
I see you have recently been addicted to Monster Mash....
To get started, you should take a look at the guides that Franky ever so kindley laid out for us.
Medic Guide: http://www.clandw.org/resources/monster-mash-wiki
Weapon Master Guide: http://www.clandw.org/resources/monster-mash-wiki
Adrenaline Master Guide: http://www.clandw.org/resources/monster-mash-wiki
The Links might not work, but you can go to the resources tab then go to Monster Mash Wiki.
As you said that "you don't like to hide", we're sorry to say that there's nothing you can do about it until you get to high levels. Spam infinity weapons (preferably link gun, or mp5) in a hidey hole when you're low level. Try to go where there's other players so you can help each other out. But above all, make sure you're having fun and make sure you're not getting hit by titan rocks. :blackeye:
