No weapons appearing in racks?

That sounds like your settings are low. Check your game settings and make sure detail and world detail levels are normal (minimum).
The difference between successful people from others is
not in the lack of strength,
not in the lack of knowledge,
but rather in the lack of will.

That still doesnt explain all the other problems like the Energy Turret sitting on the floor in Master Bath, or the long delay with combos. Also my weapons wont fire sometimes, and I have to suicide to get them to work. LG fires seconds after clicking the mouse, and the game crashes. I'm totally fubared here. About to play taps for UT2004.

When the game crashes, check your UT2004.log in your UT2004/system directory (it's a text file). Most likely the first critical line will explain what may cause the crashes. What does the first critical line say?

Everything else sounds like a networking problem. Lag? Packetloss? Uncertain how to fix that, but maybe your log may give us a lead.

OK. Ihad tried unplugging my modem yesterday, but neglected the router. I just did that and tried playing early AM, and had no issues. I'll try again later on and see what happens. Hopefully the router needing reset was all it was.
If so, thx for all the input thus far!

The solution to the problem was to reset the modem? If your connection was the problem, wouldn't you encounter other networking problems that's outside of UT?

Ah well, I'm glad it's working for you now. Let us know if the problem comes back.

You would think so. Actually I reset the modem which didnt work. I then went back and did the router, and now everything seems to be normal again. Why it didnt affect other games is beyond me. It didnt even mess with the net...just UT for some reason.

UT2004 has a special "step down" routing which can cause problems on certain local routers. The packets are encoded with two extra "navigation" bits, which though ignored by most internet routers can cause problems on some end user routers. It was a feature they used during the development of the game and left in, unaware that it would cause these problems. Other than getting a different router the reset is your only other option.

[hr]NOTE: Everything I've said in this post (other than this note) is complete Bullshit! I don't know what was causing your problem.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who read binary, and everyone else.
4013 is only a FAD
And 2989? Well that's just BAD

Sounded good though lol. I see the whole system as a toilet...sometimes it just gets clogged with crap, and needs to be unclogged.
