What level of vampirism would you need to stop a rage weapon draining your health.

None, because Vampirism doesn't work with Rage weapons.

The only way to fully protect your self from rage is with a globe. This way your health points don't suffer. Keeping the adrenaline up with rage can be difficult.
another cool thing u can do is say for example you are using rage mp5 and your health gets low, switch out and use alt fire minigun for short time to get your health back up then switch back to rage. works pretty good especially when your vamp level is high. important to turn on the triple damage if you have it because then you recharge super fast. you can't use triple with rage so when you go back to rage turn the triple off. this is very effective when you don't wanna use globe and your kill rate is still high even when switching off rage.

Blast, Warhead beat me to it but overall we have pretty much the same idea. If you have a high level of vamp with a non-rage weapon or especially a vamp weapon, then you can laugh off a Rage+10 MP5 on the easier waves and on Luci wave (as long as someone else tanks). I try to avoid rage weapons once the rock titans and instakill raptors come out, or at most use a rage weapon in shorter bursts.
Gah. No triple or vamp working with rage? I will avoid that crapy weapon magic all together. At least with my WM.. It seems more like curse weapon to me :ssmile: . And i dont see any ingame *story* logic for these tweaks.. maybe for vamp but not for triple.. but yeah.. it is just a game..
Also why vampirism work trought globe but energy leach not? it seems ilogical to me.. if globe protect you from all incoming magic/energy then it should.. without exeptions..

I made an AM character just to be able to use electromagnet in safe spots with 500 adrenaline and rejuvation weapon +5

You can picture that magic modifier as crap, but other players value this weapon.
Rage is already powerful without triple. It's overkill to enable triple damage with rage.

Even though this is off topic, but are you implying that you don't want vamp to work while the globe is in use? How is lifedrain counted anyway? it says 10% of your damage on wiki, but is it 10% generaly or 10% for every +1 in magic modifier? (eg 100% with +10*)
Sorry for little off-topic. Yes.. Personaly I would disallow all weapon, shield, hp, adren, ammo pickupcking and ability to be healed by medics or using vampirism skill/weapon to get hp WHILE globe is ON. Basicly all things which give something TO player. I have an AM level around 250 and I would not mind that.
But *laughting a loud* I can see most of other players being like:
"WTF? HELL NO!" and ragequiting in few miliseconds :sbigsmile: ..so nevermind.. :ssmile:

Rage weapon do 10% more damage per +, witch mean they do 100% more damage at +10.
Now if you compare vampirism and energy leach you can see they both have limitation making them equal:
Vampirism:
=========
1. Vampiric weapon denied Vampirism (aka: the weapon override the skill).
2. While you are poison Vampirism is disabled, but vampiric weapon ARE NOT.
If you are poison,simply use a vampiric weapon to heal yourself.
Energy Leach:
=============
1. Energy weapon denied Energy Leach (aka: The weapon override the skill).
2. While using artifacts energy leach is disabled, but energy weapon ARE NOT.
Since energy weapons +3 are 2x stronger then energy leach 5, and since they DON'T get disabled while using artifact, well the logic is simple: use energy weapon (witch are copyable) with artifact.
So has you can see there is always ANOTHER way to counter the skills limitation if you are wise enough.
