Dria need new node setup

Here's a specific forum for discussing potential maps, maps that need a vacation and optimizations and modifications for better playability.

Dria is a great map but the last 2 nodes near the cores need to be attached. I have played this way before on Titans and Cains lair. The single node to the core is just to much on a big map like this.

This map and Dry Ice are my all time favorites.

i believe the set up you are referring to is called MORNING STAR. it is an interesting set up indeed. for a pub it would possibly work well considering the opposing team will have two primaries instead of one.

And DryIce is a horrible map. Sorry but some thing sare just TOO big and besides it has horrible weapons and vehicle load outs at the core and nodes. This is assuming im remembering the correct map.

Dria it's a great map, I love, the only thing I don't like is that it's not very easy to spot the blue team. At least for me. But I agree with you, change is alwasy good, maybe we can try different set up on the nodes.

The node setup im taling about is the one we play but the last 2 nodes are attached to the core.

The christmas tree one is ok .

Namu, I think your list is a little shorter than mine :drunken:

Anyway, I threw another node layout up there. Let me know if it plays well. In the mean time, feel free to post screenies of suggestions.

Image I believe that this is the link setup that both Cains and Titan use(d) that Joe is remembering. The name of this link setup is Twin Path. I used to have issues with it but it's grown on me over time as it seems to work fairly well and all the others that myself and others came up with had issues of their own.

As for DryIce, it's a fine map for 32 players with the proper link setup, which is NOT the default links that were inserted for the 32p ECE version of this map. The one that should be used was given the name "Original_Default" for that version of the map and it looks like this:
