Anyone else in Europe right now, I have a question-

WHAT IS WITH THIS F***ING HEAT!!!!

I really cant stand any more. Anyone in any doubt that global warming is happening - dont worry it isnt. From this moment forth we are dealing with global boiling, or global sizzling. 36 degress C (96.8 F) is NOT ANYTHING like normal for England. This is a storm, a storm of heat. And its gonna kill me. Is anyone actually enjoying it?

Ahh..Poor Gorz!! It's the underworld creature in you coming out! You need the cool dark depths...not the shimmery molten gold waves from the sun. Shall I send you a brolly?
Or mayhaps you can do as we Texans do...run like hell from our air conditioned cars to our frigidly air conditioned homes, workplaces and shopping malls! We just finished an eleven consecutive day heat wave here...it was well over 100 degrees F every day...topped out at my home at 107F!! Ozone alerts, extreme fire danger, draught...it's been a heckava summer so far!

Boiling right along with ya, here in Texas! KKat
Karma...a term that comprises the entire cycle of cause & effect...
Kat...a supercilious quadrupedal pile of fur that doesn´t give a flying fig for Karma...

Open doors? With these $300+ electric bills, cold air is a precious commodity you can have mine when you pry the flak cannon from my cold dead hands.....lol
And now they say we're going back to triple digits in a couple of days.
Glad I work at night, when its not quit so bad.

Record high for this summer where I live was 119F. I checked out http://www.weather.com and it had the 119F reading posted, but in fine print underneath it said, "Feels Like: 124F". In my opinion, after you pass 100, it doesn't matter so much. Feels like 124? Come on now, seriously, who can say that it feels like 124 and vouch for their own reliability at the same time? If I ever caught myself saying, "Gosh, it feels like 124 out here." I'd have to hit myself for being foolish enough to be outside long enough to say that sentence... Wait a second... I know who can tell me it FEELS like 124. A computer! How could I have been so forgetful?

For general amusement, here's my favorite quote dealing with the heat:

It's DAMN hot!

Merseyside. And it has topped 36 C here. Seasonal average is around 20 C. But even MOSCOW has been in the mid 30s. This is freak weather and I dont like it. If the whole been getting roasted then that could mean half the north pole is going to melt.
