If you buy from gog.com, they will give you the same cd-key that every other person that has purchased from them receives!! That particular key is globally banned on a large number of UT servers including ours!

yeah, man, I mentioned that already....
and to save others some trouble, after completing the purchase, into their website
go to SUPPORT->choose GAME (eg UT2004)->Contact Us-> select type: Problems with website and user accounts and click continue,->on the problem type scroll-bar choose "multiplayer key request" and just right into textbox: I want a unique multiplayer key for online gaming for this game.

and they will sent you one in a matter of hours (at worst) from personal experience until now
