And I hate to sound like a noob, but does linking the core in that manner REALLY heal it?
Man we've been over this before . It takes 17 people linking to heal the core... :blackeye:

LOL, I don't think I've actually scared anyone *off the server* before, have I? I just calmly (though quickly) explain to them that they can't heal the core, and that they need to press forward.

Ayup! That's the only way my decrepit system will give me a barely decent framerate. You're also seeing a down-sampled image, but it's still pretty true to what I see. I'm holding off to get a new system until the ut2007 specs become available. So until then, crappy quality for me.

If you know how to squeeze more out of an Athlon XP 2600+, 1GB DDR266 RAM & GF 6600GT 128M video please, please let me know. I could really use the performance.

Snaggle.

What do you have everything set at? I have a XFX 6600 w/ 256 DDR2. I have most of my settings at high. Of course, my frame rate depends on the map, but I don't think that I have gotten below 30 unless there is some lag somewhere.
