Thanks for the warm welcome DW and SVA. You guys and gals definitly have a great club going.
I got one for you Zax:
When a hellbender side turret is spamming snowballs then ignighting them with secondary fire and you are at distance, use the shock rifle and aim at the side turret. If you hit snowballs close to the hellbender it will die very quick (one or two hits). MULTIKILL! Time the shots to the fire rate of the side turret. Keep moving to dodge the chargebeam turret.
Figured that out on primevil one day.
Of course, AVRILs shot way over the snowballs then locked in do the trick too. Death from above
--Technopeon (Aka Priznick while playing UT).
PS.. (The ngstats show as Priznick, not T3C4N0P30N. DOH!)
I was on Spam Vikings playing last night.
Yes but avrils can be shot down easily with the turret. The bender although its a killing machine its very flimsy and few shock balls and rockets (tribarrel) will knock that sucker around. Also a good manta poilet would easily take it down, unless someone moves into twinbeams. Your correct about the pre-emptively blowing the skymines, but thats not very easy to achieve.

Yea with AVRiL's you should fire way up in the air (but still in the general direction of the hellbender), wait until the AVRiL rocket is high up, then target the hellbender to lock the AVRiL rocket in on it. This way the rocket hits from above the row of skymines. So THAT's what skymines are! Learn something new every day. :cheese:

I might be wrong here, but I think I've observed that the shock primary will only set off one skymine at a time if you manage to hit it. However, if you set off one enemy skymine with the HellBender's shock beam (secondary side turret) you will set off the enemies skymines in a continuous chain all the way back to the enemy bender. Do this once or twice and BOOM!

OH Friggin kewl man! I did not know that. I'll try lining up my hellbender on an enemy one thats spamming and try that out.
I've gotten pretty good at hitting the skymines close to the enemy bender w/ the shock primary tho. If I'm runnin around on the ground that is.
Thanks man.

Yeah I was taught that the hard way whilst playing against Jackal on Dreamus. Wish you had posted it up before Sweaters.

So many Hellbender-litterates. I usually try to go after the Hellbender with a manta on Primeval; otherwise, I go up close for the kill with flak or rocket tri-spirally thing. Two of those finish it real fast.
