ONS-MINUSTANKMEUP: Poll/ request: to ADD another version

Personally, I find the older versions of this map, where you only have the Goliath, Ion and the Badger, pretty boring. I'm guessing Titan's running versions with only 3 vehicles, or only 2. IIRC not many people got excited about this map when SV ran earlier versions of it: Gorz's additions to it added a lot of the fun and dynamism that people enjoy in the version SV runs.
He's not selling public stock here. He is taking donations. When I give 5 bucks to a homeless shelter, or give my leftovers to a homeless person coming out of a pub in Frisco, I do not expect that I have a say in what soup will be served and how the volunteers will act in the shelter. Your logic is flawed.
Now, no one should take that to think Toxic, or any other DW for that matter does not appreciate and respect those who donate, but nonetheless, it is a donation and an act of good will.

Hmm.. never had a fluffernutter before. Unlike most kids my age, I don't like sandwhiches that much. I like subs, and that's about it.

SOo0o0o0o now that we have 3 deamus maps in the server i dont see why we should not have another tank me up ................. i know plenty of people who hate deamus yet we now have 3 and we have 2 dria and plenty of other maps that have more than one map in the list. I never sayed it had to be another gorzak one just the original tank me up is cool too ............... even the one with just original tanks and 2 ion tanks is cool
And we all know you can not make all the people around here happy all the time and any one who is an admin knows this....
i just realy have a hard time seeing why we cant have another tank me up where there are other ( bad maps in my eyes ) with more than one in the list

sooooooo some one take the time and make a new node lay out or a difrent map of tank me up.............. tank me up .... some thing and you have my vote or 50
Reason why there is another Dreamus map is because it is getting worked on, not because there are people who like Dreamus and not Tank. Dreamus still is not one of the fav's and is making improvements while MinusTank is not one that is on the list to be "fixed" and thus another version does not need to be added.

OK, so let's lock this up. It's gone on way too far, and off topic several times on top of that.
It's obvious some people really love this map. But it's also obvious there are people that detest it, or just feel like twice a day is enough.
Wraith has put forth an idea to make a new version, with different terrain, and a somewhat different vehicle load out. It will take time, but I really think we should wait. I've given this subject a lot of thought, and I really don't think it's a good idea. I have no control over how the maps are voted. It may even get to the point where they are both in the voting list at the same time and get played back to back, or within a map or two of each other. I don't think that's a good idea.
As for duplicate, yes we have some "duplicates" but they are dups in name only. I took off all the {ECE} version base maps. Dria Gorz is nothing like Dria in terms of gameplay. I left the base maps on because new people know them, and I want to make new people feel more comfortable in that they can pick out maps they know.
So as soon as Wraith gets some time, we'll be putting up a project for Minus to get a version different enough to warrant entry into the rotation.
