Here is a quick view of it. A bit Melancholic, but it's supposed to make you feel home sick, even if you are IN Panama. :cat:
So you wonder how is Panama?

Cams! What a neat video! I know for most Americans, Panama is the Canal and Noriega.... a really limited view of your country. Neither image does justice to the beauty and history, poverty and riches, colonial and modern views of Panama. The accompanying song about the "Mother Country" was moving... ¡Habló a mi corazón! Would you happen to know the artist?
Many thanks for sharing this video...and for sharing a bit about yourself as well!

The song (I believe live version) of "Patria" by Ruben Blades.

Well, is like a little NY lots of building, a little Vegas tons of casinos, lots of beaches for surfers, like jungle? We got it, like extreme sports? We have that too, most of the ppl speak English so no problem communicating to other ppl, lots of night clubs for all type of preferences, women’s I’ll say they got good body, but that depends on your personal taste but the best part of all of this is that everything is a whole lot cheaper.
All of these in US dollars, you can get a beer for 1.50 in the nightclubs, bottle of Vodka 20.00-25.00, skydiving 80.00 or 100.00, six pack of beer can go from 3.00 to 4.50.
A trip to one of the most beautiful beaches that is Bocas del Toro 3 days 2 nights with plain tickets is around 200-300 depends on the Hotel. We got a hotel that is called Decameron that it's all included is just 40.00 per night, includes all you can drink, eat, it has like 3 discos, lots of bar, 7 pools or so, beach, kayak I mean, for you guys it’s paradise since it’s all cheaper than US and UK of course. Also we got a free duty place that you can buy everything without any tax, only for tourist thought, :angryfire: here you can buy from a needle to a big ass HDTV all kind of digital technology.
I’m I missing something Cams?
Oh before I forget, adult entertainment is very very good as well, if you know what I mean. The Weasel know this places very well lol…
No wonder is one of the hottes places to go nowadays. And if you are plannig to buy a protery over is almost free, since it's like tax free, I'm telling you, it's very cheap but with hight quality.

Hey Joe,
You should do what I did, move to Canada! Then you get to see first hand how a socialistic democracy works. In regards to Chavez, I hear he's using some of that money to create a universal health care system similar to what the Canadians have. Part of how he won the last referrendum. Personally, I'm a bit leery of socialism in the third world. Those who supposedly start off creating a 'socialist' change usually turn corrupt with ego and greed and end up creating an oligarchial government. In the long run, no freedom of speech, no shared wealth. They just mostly end up using socialism as an excuse to stay in power. Well, its yet to be determined with Chavez, curious to see if he will set down after his 2nd presidential term expires, and respect Venazuela's constitution.
